I am incredibly scared of needles and have had several bad experiences as so many others. Dr. Robbins and his entire staff changed that. I could not even feel him apply the anesthesia! I couldn’t feel it at all! I cannot recommend this place enough!

I am no longer afraid of the dentist. That pretty much says everything re: how awesome Dr. Robbins & his entire staff is.

It is weird to say, but honestly I look forward to doing to the dentist ever since Dr Robbins has been my dentist for the past year or so! I found him through a colleague and I’m so glad I did. Besides being warm, friendly, funny and sweet, he is SO knowledgable and a total perfectionist which is what you want in a dentist. He was the first dentist to tell me I’ve been grinding my teeth, and he noticed right away. He made me a night guard, and now I no longer wake up with headachs and I’m not destroying my teeth. He is so trustworthy, shows you photographs of everything he’s doing/​suggesting and why, and never pushes unnecessary services on you. If you’re scared of the pain, noises, etc, he will get you headphones and put on whatever you want to listen to and do whatever he can to help address your anxieties. Also, his staff is so nice and helpful, and the hygienist who cleans your teeth is awesome and a total pro. My teeth have never looked better! I would recommend him to anyone!

I (David) am using my wife’s (Carol) Unilocal account because I do not have one — which explains why it says Carol as the submitter even though this is being written by David. I (David) am a board certified pediatric dentist (I treat only children). In addition to having my own private office I also have taught at USC for over 25 years. Dr. Robbins was one of my «students» many years ago. He was an outstanding dental student and is an outstanding dentist. I am «in the field» and Dr. Robbins is the dentist I chose for my dental care. Since my wife is not a child (and I only treat children) she also sees Dr. Robbins. Michael is caring and takes his time with each patient to make them feel comfortable. He fully explains any treatment recommendations and answers any questions the patient may have. The office has a dental hygienist for doing the cleaning (not as assistant as is done in many offices). He is conservative in his approach and does not try to «upsell» unnecessary treatment. Being very honest and ethical, Dr. Robbins is concerned about his patients and the care he is providing. Dr. Robbins has done a few crowns as well as dental bonding for me. He is very aware of patient comfort and the treatment was totally painless. His staff is nice and he has a pleasant, neat, clean office. You never feel rushed when visiting the office. I have always found the office runs on schedule by not overbooking patients I would highly recommend him. We live in Encino and I know MANY dentists from my years of teaching and having a private practice. I drive to Dr. Robbins office in Beverly Hills because I feel he is the best dentist. You will not be disappointed with Dr. Michael Robbins.

Michael H. Robbins is the best dentist I know. I have been his patient for three decades. He is brilliant, inventive, dedicated and thorough. He loves dentistry and his work shows it. He will go the extra mile to do the very best for his patient. He doesn’t cut corners. His integrity is beyond reproach. I trust him completely. Michael H. Robbins is the best gift you can give your teeth.

Never thought I’d say going to the dentist was a great experience but Dr. Robbins and his staff are the best. From the minute I walked in the office until I left, they were friendly and made me feel comfortable. Jessica was pleasant and very efficient, she already had my insurance on file (less paperwork for me). Dr Robbins was great and made me feel comfortable the minute he walked in the room. He cared more about the health of my teeth and fixing a few problems than trying to add more services. Vicky was so nice and gave my teeth the best cleaning they ever had, thorough and pain free. She even took the time to show me how to properly floss. I would recommend Dr. Robbins to anyone looking for a dentist.

Very nice guy, staff is fast and efficient. Never feel uncomfortable or pain during the cleaning.

Bottom line: if you have teeth Dr. Robbins is THE dentist to trust.
Over the years I’ve had several types of procedures done … as a sculptor Dr. Robbins has not only kept my teeth perfect, but also kept my bite in perfect alignment. I wouldn’t ever consider going to anyone else!

I’m scared of the dentist, and not in the way that most people say they are. I get legit anxiety just thinking about going. In fact, I broke out in a sweat just making the phone call to make the appointment to see Dr. Robbins. It’s bad.
I’m embarrassed to admit I haven’t gone to see a dentist in years. I had a terrible experience at another dentist a few years ago and it’s stuck with me. I knew my teeth were not in great shape and I was terrified of what they might find when I went, but I knew I couldn’t prolong going anymore.
His team was fantastic. The hygienist Rubi had a great sense of humor and did her best to help me feel at ease, which is not an easy task when you have a patient who is certain her untimely death is near.
Once I had the X-​rays done, Dr. Robbins came in to take a look. He was extremely thorough, showed me all of my X-​rays and proceeded to take pictures of my entire mouth. We went through them all and he pointed out problem areas and made sure I understood what was going on and what we could do to start correcting issues. He never belittled or lectured me, he was very factual and detail-​oriented. I felt so embarrassed and guilty about the condition of my teeth already, it was a pleasant surprise not to have a dentist try to make me feel even worse. He’s a pretty charismatic guy and clearly cares about his patients’ health.
I ended up needing a deep cleaning on my gums, which is not a particularly pleasant experience. The office manager Jessica was very thorough regarding my insurance and we discussed cost prior to beginning any work. Once we began, he talked me through everything, and asked me many times if I was ok or if I was experiencing any pain. Rubi was extremely attentive and helped me communicate any discomfort (hard to talk with a bunch of hands and tools in your mouth).
The three of them spent a lot of time with me, I know that time is valuable when you run a busy office and it was comforting to know they cared.
This is the first time I’ve left the dentist and not dreaded having to go back, and that’s really saying something. I’m looking forward to returning to Dr. Robbins and his team to continue getting back on track with my dental health, and that’s something I NEVER thought I’d say. You may not know me, but take it from a neurotic dental scaredy cat — if you are looking for a new dentist, Dr. Robbins and his team will not disappoint.

Dr. Robbins is the BEST!
He is such a kind-​hearted and charismatic guy on top of being extremely intelligent and helpful. The first time I went to him I got an impacted/​infected wisdom tooth removed. Through the process he was always reassuring and caring. Afterwards he called and checked in with me several times to monitor my progress and make sure all was well.
I will be going back regularly for cleanings and all dental work. His hygienist is amazing as well.

Dr. Robbins has been my dad’s dentist for many years. Dad recently fell and broke
his hip. During his lengthy recuperation, he has required extensive dental work. Dr. Robbins has been so kind and caring. Our family is so grateful to him.

Dr. Robbins is the best of the best. My wife and I don’t mind traveling from the valley for our visits. Worth the trip. You’ll never feel more comfortable in a dentist’s chair.
Most importantly, his dental work is supreme. I’m not an expert by any means, but had a lot of work done and saw the results firsthand.

Dr Michael and his staff, are #1 in my book, they’ve achieved something something on my that has never happened before and that is not having fear of the dentist. Dr Michael really makes you feel at ease once you sit on the chair. Also he is very proud of his work, he makes you look at the finish product once he is done. Love it. What else can I say other than he is the BEST DENTIST I’VE BEEN TO.

Dr. Robbins and his staff of Jessica, Ana, Vicky, and Mimi are the nicest group of people and they really make you feel at home and comfortable.
Dr. Robbins took a lot of time to talk through my issues and review x-​rays. Vicky scrapped and cleaned my teeth as clean as they’ve ever been.
My teeth are very grateful and look forward to their next visit!

I LOVE DR. ROBBINS! He’s brilliant at his craft. I had ALL of my silver fillings removed and replaced with enamel colored resin, and he did such an amazing job! When I laugh my head off, and my big mouth is opened like a tiger, it looks like I don’t have any cavities. Amazing.
I had uneven teeth, so he shaped them nice and straight. I’m dying to go back for some other cosmetic procedures since I have a few gaps in between my teeth.

I never thought that I’d be saying this but I no longer fear going to the dentist. This all happened last year as I was looking and fearing my next trip to dental pain ave but was referred to Dr Robbins by a friend. Normally I brush these off but you should never turn down a good dentist reference.
Everything from making the appointment with Jessica, processing your insurance and other needs with Mimi, having your teeth cleaned by Vicki or when your in the capable hands of Ana the Dental Hygienist is geared towards making your overall experience a good one. And this is all before you even see Dr Robbins…
I have to admit that I appreciate a bit of rough handling with a cleaning and Vicki isn’t shy about getting down and dirty with your gums but you’re all the better for it in the end. You feel as if you’ve received a new set of teeth and it’s your fault if you do anything to damage them before your next visit in her chair. She doesn’t judge nor belittle you for not flossing, just reminds you that yes you should do this every night.
Once you are prepped and ready Dr Robbins makes the remainder of your time pleasant with his innovative xray machines (which are far less intrusive and painful) as well as trying to talk to you as a person as opposed to a patient. He is a master at shaping teeth and performing cosmetic procedures as well.
It’s strange to admit but I look forward to the next time I’m heading in there as this office has really changed the way I view the dentist.
