MCar – A Midway Company – Beverly Hills Hilton

If clean cars & some level of good customer service is your expectation, this is not the place you should rent from. I have now rented from this location 3 – 4 times in the last 60 days. They don’t pick up their phones, long wait times once they pick up, and most of the times they just wash the exterior of the cars and leave the interior dirty. Unfortunately this location is just not well staffed.

This place is great. The staff is friendly, customer service is great. Pick up and drop off are never an issue. I definitely recommend them for any and all car rental needs.

I would recommend Midway Car Rental to anyone. When I drove my Audi to my second place, I was worried about finding a nice car as a rental for business in Beverly Hills. Not only is the service exceptional, but their cars are so clean and they have an incredible selection. When I told them I really wanted a black Mercedes the next day, they went out of their way to have one ready for me to pick up in Beverly Hills and still drop off at LAX for my next flight out. I have been trying to decide whether to just buy a second car for my place here, but because they have made it so convenient for me, I decided to just keep working with them. So rare to find this kind of service at a rental car company in LA. Trust me, I have worked with so many rental companies for business and I have never seen this kind of service. No long lines, friendly staff, beautiful cars and a coffee while I fill out the paperwork. Amazing.

Midway rental car in LA was a great experience! We first reserved a car at dollar at LAX and there was a two hour line (I’m not exaggerating) luckily we had only reserved it not paid for it, so we left and called Über cab (which is another 5 star rating in itself) to our hotel. Our hotel called Midway which was nearby, they delivered our brand new Camry to us then we were able to drop it off at the airport. Within 30 seconds they checked us out and Keith G drove up in a shuttle to the airport in another 30 seconds. The whole experience was exceptional and was well worth the additional minimal cost. This renews my faith in good service!

We had a great experience. Great deal for a 2012 Explorer Lmtd. Quick service, no extra fees. I would definitely recommend.

I have rented from Midway for over 7 years, and they are amazing! Consistent and extremely customer oriented. They have all new vehicles (updating their fleet yearly), work with you on delivering a car to your hotel, and I even have been surprised by nice complimentary upgrades! All in all the best company I’ve ever rented with in LA!

I was in an accident and needed a rental car while my car was being repaired. Immediately I thought of Midway as I had rented from them before. I went to the new office on Wilshire and was overly impressed with the service I received. It turned out it took 5 weeks for my car to get repaired and each week I would call and it was effortless to have my contract renewed. I did have to go in after the 4^th week to have a new contract written up but I was in and out in no time at all. Everyone in the office was empathetic to my situation and so kind. There is a nice selection of cars and very cost effective not to forget a very professionally run office. The customer service is personalized and you don’t ever get that in this industry. Thanks Beverly Hills Wishire Midway! I will be back.

Attached to the Beverly Hilton and just as friendly and efficient as the folks at LAX. From now on I plan to do all my renting from Midway when I visit Sunny So-​Cal — a great experience from start to finish in a city where my experiences with renting a car have been sub-​par at best in the past.

I went here to rent Ford Mustang Shelby GT 500. (540 hp — oh yeah!)
Let me start off by saying this is the ONLY car rental company that rents a MANUAL TRANSMISSION vehicle. I searched nearly ever inch of LA and the internet. Apparently people would learn how to drive stick with a rental and bring it back smoking like a chimney.
Their website is pretty accurate in showing their inventory. You have to read the fine print to know exactly what you’re getting. The other great part is, they’ll bring it to their closest location to you. For me, this was the BH Hilton.
No star for you, Midway:
I waited a day to rent it and who would’ve thought it’d go up nearly $ 100/​day! Considering it was a week rental (with no discount for keeping it for a week like Budget or Avis does), that’s crazy. I know their quotes only last 24 hours, but be reasonable. Their reason for the jump was based on supply and demand. I appreciate their honesty. So…$ 375/​day.
Knock you down another:
If you’ve never been a customer here before, no matter how much you spend here, they will not deliver the car to you. Really? $ 2,500 and you can’t drive it 2 more miles. I know I didn’t rent from their Platinum Collection but come-​on, now.
Overall, good experience. More than likely, they got it, if you want it.

I chose to rent from Midway based on the reviews and the fact that they are open on Sundays. My rental was for a six-​week period while my car was in a body shop.
First, a disclaimer: based on the Maseratis & Ferraris in their parking lot, I’m going to go out on a limb and assume that I might not be their typical customer in that I rented a Toyota Corolla. Having said that, the Corolla in question reeked of cigarette smoke, so much that it was quite obvious after several weeks of driving the car. The glove compartment was filled with trash, old receipts, and several pairs of sunglasses. I asked the sales person if the car had an iPod interface; he said that it did not, but it only took me a cursory glance at the audio system to see a clearly marked input.
On a positive note, the sales staff was very pleasant to deal with, both on the phone and in person. I still think I would rent from Midway again, but only after I call our insurance company and substantially increase our per diem for auto rentals. Quattroporte, baby!

When I’m in Los Angeles I will ONLY rent from Midway! They have fantastic cars that are clean. They have given me my car at LAX. They have had my car waiting for me upon my arrival at hotels. They have let my husband and I drive it to Vegas and then they picked it up from there. The customer service is fantastic. These are not the cars you’ll find at Enterprise (well, none of the cars I rented would be).

I ALWAYS rent from Midway Car Rental… They always have nice cars… clean and well running. The people there are great… soooo much better than «those other car companies!»…
They are easy to get to from LAX, fair rates and convenient drop off locations.
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND…

Frankly, there are really no excuses or reasons to rent a car anyplace other than Midway while in Los Angeles.
I have been a customer of Midway’s for over a decade and would not even considering using any other rental company (and I have experienced them all at one point or another). My company has need for it’s owner to be seen in a prestige vehicle. Midway delivers the car to his hotel prior to his arrival. Whether the car is brand new or not, it is always showroom-​clean. If there are any issues (which is rare), a representative always shows up within minutes to ensure that his schedule is not derailed.
On the other end of the spectrum, our employees use Midway for their lower-​end rental needs. Midway seems to always be at or lower than all other rental companies’ best prices. With the convenient airport location or the at baggage claim greeting (when needed on occasion), nobody does it better than Midway.

This agency is truly as good as it gets.
I am a Personal Assistant to a high profile couple, who depends on third-​party vendors on a daily basis — so when I find a company that is excellent, I’m more than happy to recommend it! The representatives of Midway (I speak with knowledge of their Beverly Hills staff) are efficient, polite, and most importantly, dedicated to providing the best service within their ability. They return phone calls, return emails, and will go to great lengths to ensure that their customers are satisfied.
I’ve never known a car rental agency who a) returns calls and b) returns calls after hours … and Midway will! From start to finish, the reservation process is always simple and stress-​free, and their vehicle selection is top-​grade.
I can’t give higher accolades to Ryan, Jackie, Frederick and their associates at Midway — Beverly Hills.

I liked renting a car here. They are located in the Renaissance LAX and you hop on a shuttle but to get to their office.
The guy who was helping us told us that he upgraded us to a convertible, which would have been great if it was summer but it was winter and freakin cold. He said that we’d thank him when we put the top down the next day — uh… ok…the next day was raining cats and dogs! So no thank you.
No long lines like at the other places. Service was friendly and fast. I’ll definitely rent cars from here in the future.

I would not rent my car anywhere else in LA. LAX and West LA/​Bev Hills locations ROCK! Great selection of cars, awesome customer service, great rates. What more could you ask for? When I returned my car, I only had an hour before my flight left, so they offered to take me to my terminal in a phatty Suburban. Budget, Dollar, Avis, Enterprise, and Thrifty never did that for me! Instead of driving a Taurus at the more popular car rental companies, why not drive a nice Beemer or Benzo from Midway instead?

I like this place. They rent out of the beverly hilton, and LAX, and they are generally good. I had some problems with them involving a bill that was not supposed to go on my account, but they handled it, it just took them two weeks.
the cars are clean and serviceable, and they have hybrids to rent. So check it out if you need a rental.
Its not a mega-​rent location like budget at LAX, but they do a decent job.

Well, I haven’t actually rented any cars with them, but they have a great selection of cars and seem to have responsive customer service via email.

Best place to rent a car if you’re flying into LA for a few days! Great range of cars [from über-​cheap to über-​cool, and you can drop it off right at LAX!
I have two Midway success stories:
I missed my flight from LAX to Palm Springs, so instead of waiting around for the next flight out [which was in something like FOUR hours!!!] I just got a car from Midway and was on my way!
Another time I forgot a stack of CDs in the car, and the wonderful people at Midway packed up my CDs and shipped them to me the next day!
Why not five stars? I can’t bring myself to give ANY car rental place that much praise!
