Marjan Mirani, DDS

Thank you so much for the wonderful dental work! I left feeling confident that my problems were being taken care of by someone with a passion for their craft and an honest business practice. The office is very modern and clean yet welcoming. The support staff were very friendly and helpful. Dr Marjan cares about her patients well being and I trust her expertise… not getting upsold for necessary services. She also takes great pride in her work and follows up to make sure you are happy and the issue is fixed. Worth the extra $!

Dr. Mirani is an incredibly talented dentist with the softest touch and warm caring personality. I have been seeing dr. Mirani over 10 years now, and she has always done an outstanding job for all kind of treatments from simple cleanings and fillings to crowns and Invisalign. I recommended her to a couple of friends and they also love her. I was lucky to find dr. Mirani, she will be my and my family dentist for life.

I worked with Dr. Mirani when she donated a week of her time to help out with a Medical Team that just got back from the mountains of Nicaragua. A great doctor and a fine and compassionate person.

Dr. Mirani is a great professional. Also the dental hygienists (specially Helena). The reason for 2 stars is the person at the front desk. No manners and doesn’t help to acomodate appointments. She even told me «feel free to go to another place». I think that is so bad for bussiness administration, specially when I really need to have a dental cleaning before a long trip. And it is hard to find another dentist last minute. Huge disappointment. And also sad that Dr Mirani didn’t pay attention to my case in particular.

Love Dr. Mirani! I refer all of my friends and co-​workers to her. She has the kindest, friendly demeanor. She makes going to the dentist a not-​so-​scary experience. She also does a lot of the work herself. A lot of dentists pass u off the their assistants and u never even see the dentist. While Dr. Mirani does have people who help her, she is always involved in some part if the process, even for a regular cleaning.
And Marisela is amazing. She handles all of the scheduling and billing. She is super accommodating and very easy to contact by phone or by email. And she knows EVERYTHING about dealing with insurance coverage.
Highly recommend if u need a dentist in the Beverly Hills area.

You will never find another dentist who is dedicated to their craft like Marjan Mirani is. She’s an excellent dentist who’s primary concern is your health which is related to your dental care… plus she is an Angel on the earth…

I’ve had what I thought was a «healthy fear of the dentist» all my life. Just the thought of sitting in that chair sent shivers down my spine. But Dr. Mirani completely changed my outlook forever, I guess I just had a fear of bad dentists is all:)
She is the perfect person to be a dentist. She’s calm, methodical, and a truly kind human being. She reeeeally knows her stuff too! Everything in her office looks like the most up-​to-​date tools and technology.
I had a particularly large and difficult filling because it was close to a nerve, so after the novocaine wore off, I was having a lot of pain. I called Dr. Mirani and she quickly calmed me down and called in a pain prescription for me at 10pm. She even called me to see how I was doing for the next few days… can you imagine another dentist doing that!!! I’ve been a patient of hers for 4 years now and am so happy that I have my dentist for life! …and I swear, even if I moved across the country, I would fly back for my dental visits because Dr. Mirani cannot be duplicated!!!

Dr. Mirani is the best. I’ve been seeing her for over 15 years now. I’ve recommended her to my entire family and all my friends. She always has the best interest in my health and has become a great friend. How often do you say that about your dentist?

I’m a dental chicken and she makes you feel totally at ease and comfortable. She takes all your concerns into consideration and makes your visit as pleasant as a dental visit can be.
I would totally give 5 stars but I just wish she accepted my insurance so i would have a lower co-​pay. She’s worth it though!

Previously gave 5 stars, now 3. I had an excellent experience purchasing a night guard, but it broke a few months after purchase. (Was cleaning it in the sink and dropped it — maybe a 2″ fall — and it split in half.)
Called to discuss the matter and though the staff was polite enough, wanted to charge me for an office visit merely to look at the guard. Moreover they did not maintain my impressions on file, or materials needed to re-​make the piece, so I would have had to undergo the entire fitting/​production process once more, at full cost, to replace.
I was not able to pay an additional $ 700 + office fees to replace the piece, so I opted out. I can understand why a replacement piece would be charged due to accidental breakage, but I would have at least appreciated a complimentary office visit to assess the damage.
Let me reiterate that the dentist is very caring and her staff is excellent, but after speaking with my new dentist (I’ve moved away from LA), I have come to believe that a different solution than the one provided was in order.

I was referred to Dr. Mirani by a co-​worker and she is the best dentist I have ever been too. She really cares about her patients. Her staff is as wonderful as she is. she has now been my dentist for 4 years and I will continue to go to her.

I have been seeing Dr. Mirani for years and LOVE her! Having had cavities and problems with my teeth my entire life thanks to my «amazing» genetics, I have been to several dentists who make it terrifying to even think of ever going back. However, Dr. Mirani makes going to the dentist a pleasure. She is so sweet, kind and gentle. She even massages your jaw for you when you’re done. If you ever have an emergency she will be sure to get you in ASAP. I recommend her to all my family and friends and they all love her. I highly recommend Dr. Mirani! She is definitely the best and actually cares about you, making sure you are comfortable every step of the way.

i cannot warn parents enough about taking your children to marjan mirani DDS. as in a giant NO, don’t do it. she may be a great dentist for adults but her bedside manner for children is non-​existent.
the hubs got a referral from a co-​worker for a pediatric dentist as our regular dentist was on vacay. unfortunately, the referral dentist was also on vacay. our 3 yr old daughter had somehow deeply cut her gums, close to several of her teeth & we decided we could not wait 2wks for our regular dentist to return.
as i mentioned, my daughter was 3. she had visiting the dentist since she was 18 months & this being her 4^th to a dentist, she was very familiar with how the whole visit to the dentist thing worked.
dr mirani wanted an x-​ray to check the intregrity of her teeth near the incision site. not an unreasonable request. only over the next 45 minutes, i got the distinct feeling that she had never administered an x-​ray to a child under the age of 10.
why? you ask. let me tell you.
after 45 minutes, dr mirani failed to get any type of x-​ray because she was unable to explain, in easy, comprehendable terms for a 3 year old to understand, how the film was to go between my daughter’s cheek/​teeth/​gums but that my daughter would need to bite the film and hold still while the x-​ray was taken.
not too hard.
it is if you have NO way with children, as dr mirani.
over the next 45 minutes, she consistently snapped at my 3 year old, eventually making her cry thus now making the x-​ray process impossible. knowing my daughter and her penchant to please, i knew i could put it into terms she could comprehend. before interjecting instructions directly to my daughter as i could understand what dr mirani was asking, i FIRST asked dr mirani if she would like me to try explaining to my daughter what was needed of her. dr mirani then snapped at me and left the room. my 3 year old daughter turned to me and said «i don’t understand what she wants me to do and i am afraid i will bite her finger and then she’ll be mad at me» as it had not dawned on my daughter that dr mirani had already been mad at her for the last 45 minutes.
in dr mirani’s absence, i explained to my 3 year old exactly what she needed to do so we could get the x-​ray then head home and forget this whole awful dental experience.
dr mirani returned once more, shoved the film between my daughter’s cheek/​teeth and instructed her to bite down. now. which my daughter did. and she bit dr mirani’s finger. just as she had feared. dr mirani yelled «she bit me!» then stormed out and a dental assistant was sent in to try her luck.
by this time, my 3 year old was silently sobbing, trying her hardest to keep her tears in as she knew she had not done what was asked of her. and she hates failing people.
despite all that, no x-​ray. grrrrrr.
to explain away this experience, my only guess is that dr mirani did/​does not have any children of her own. AND she was absent the day child patient relations was taught at dental school, attributing to her lack of skill in dealing with children in a considerate, caring manner.
so boo on you dr mirani and your awful chairside manner with the wee ones. and thanks to you, my daughter now fears every dental cleaning and cries at the mere mention of x-​rays. thanks. thanks alot.

Dr. Mirani has been amazing with my treatment. My case is not an easy one. I got in a cycling accident where I broke my jaw broken in five places, lost some teeth and all that comes with such an injury. The oral surgeon who took over my case suggested I go to no one other than his own dentist, Dr. Mirani. He clearly saw that I needed someone who could offer a specialized, gentle and organized approach to it all. Dr. Mirani’s and her team have been that and so much more. Her approach has been professional, compassionate and I genuinely love coming to her office. Her staff is awesome!

After moving to LA, it took me a long time to find a dentist.
I have an irrational fear of needles going into my mouth. Giving blood is fine, getting shots elsewhere, touching blood, having surgery… fine, fine, fine. But I CAN’T take a shot in the mouth. And I work in dentistry.
People were always asking me to recommend a dentist, and since I was new to the area, I would ask my boss. Dr. Mirani’s name kept coming up. She said that although she is a little on the expensive side, she is meticulous and does beautiful work. Still, I waited until I couldn’t wait anymore.
At my first appointment with Dr. Mirani, I was SOOO nervous. A filling that I’d had for a long time had cracked and broke part of my tooth. Apparently there was some leakage because it was really shoddily done. I knew I’d have to get a shot. But Dr. Mirani was so gentle!
Her light touch and soothing voice make dental visits, well, not terrifying. She really does put me at ease. I can’t say that going to the dentist is ever enjoyable, but she is the 1^st dentist I’ve ever had that I can actually relax in the chair.
BTW, she did an onlay for me and it looks great, I can barely tell which tooth it s, it feels just like all the others.
