Chloe L. Cohen, D.D.S., M.S., practices a dental philosophy by which appropriate treatment options, optimal clinical care, and educational instruction, through the specialty of periodontology are delivered. Our office specializes in advanced periodontics, dental implants, and sedation.

Your first visit will be customized to meet your specific needs. Dr. Cohen will complete a thorough evaluation of your medical and dental health history as well as perform a comprehensive intra– and extra-​oral full mouth evaluation (including the gums, jaw bones, ligament, and tooth root). Dr. Cohen will also review dental x-​rays.

Your initial visit will end with a question and answer session discussing various options along with their respective benefits and drawbacks, instructional audio and visual aids for further comprehension of your customized treatment plan, and a sedation interview to ensure a positive and comfortable experience with us.

Dr. Cohen is currently practicing advanced periodontics, dental implants, and sedation; serving the Beverly Hills and Los Angeles communities. She is also an Assistant Clinical Professor in the division of Medically and Mentally Compromised Individuals at the Ostrow School of Dentistry of the University of Southern California, and is continuously undergoing research at the University.

Dr. Cohen has completed an additional three years of specialized training in advanced periodontics and dental implants and is currently an active member of the California Society of Periodontists, American Academy of Periodontology, Western Society of Periodontology, Academy of Osseointegration, California Dental Association, American Dental Association, and the Los Angeles Dental Society.

Dr. Cohen is a brilliant periodontists who matches her exceptional technical training and skill with a much welcomed social intelligence and genuine care for the well being of her patients. I initially started seeing Dr. Cohen when I was diagnosed with a severe condition that affects my teeth. I was very anxious and in a lot of pain. She and her excellent staff not only took care of my teeth, but helped me manage the psychological stress. The result is that in less than a year, my teeth are much healthier and I actually look forward to my visits.
The other thing to know about this office is that it is very luxurious. It’s a class act from the moment you enter the doors to when you leave with your customized brushes and dental tools. The chair is extremely comfortable and the TV and movie selection really help during a painful procedure. And the last time I was there I mentioned something about being cold and they immediately brought me a warm, elegant blanket as if I was flying first class with Jennifer Aniston in that United Arab Emirates commercial. So chic!

Dr. Cohen is easily the best periodontist I have ever seen. I have substantial fear and anxiety over any work to my mouth due to severe sensitivity and exposed nerves.
I met Dr Cohen well over a year ago. Tooth extraction and gum graft surgery were recommended. Dr. Cohen is very professional, compassionate and dare I say it, fun… yes, lively, lovely personality too.
I mused on the surgical prospect for a year and finally worked up the courage to do it. 4 tooth extractions and 2 grafts later I am here to tell you I had NO pain, and just slight discomfort. Which I consider to be nothing short of a miracle. Yes, I did have twilight sleep which was administered perfectly. I was able to eat soft food that day and able to eat Turkey or chicken and softer vegetables day after and going forward. I am now 3 weeks post op and my mouth looks beautiful! The ugly gum recession is gone, I am no longer afraid to smile, and I can eat so many more foods as the nerves are no longer exposed.
I am thrilled with the work done by Dr. Cohen and can’t believe I’m actually looking forward to my next visit for teeth cleaning!
If you need any dental/​gum work Dr. Cohen is highly recommended.

My dentist referred me to Dr. Cohen to remove a tooth that was infected and I have continued to visit her periodically for a follow-​up implant surgery and then for periodic cleanings. She is the best periodontist that I’ve ever visited and embodies all of the qualities you would wish for – extremely knowledgeable, dedicated, smart and up on the latest developments in dentistry, exceedingly nice, and possessing a gentle but firm touch in all of her work. In addition, her office is a haven of peace and quiet, her staff is thorough professional, and it is always a pleasure to visit and reassuring to know you are in the very best care. I recommend her wholeheartedly and am glad to be one of her patients.

Just finished a cleaning with Dr.Cohen. She did such a great job, was very sweet, and extremely gentle. The whole process was pain-​free, and I got to watch a great movie of my choice during the whole process. Very clean and professional, the whole experience was surprisingly very relaxing. It’s been nearly 3 years and I did not have a great experience at my last dentist so I was delaying doing this for as long as possible. Dr. Cohen came recommended through a friend so I looked her up and saw that others had great reviews so I made an appointment. Everything was perfect, she was absolutely informative, had great doctor/​patient manners and her team was kind and professional. She didn’t try to up-​sell me on any procedures I didn’t need and even went as far as told me that I have a mild gum recession that doesn’t need immediate attention but rather to monitor it for next time. 5 out of 5 and she’s now my primary periodontist.

Dr. Cohen is easily the best dentist and periodontist I’ve ever had. She is friendly, understanding, and — most importantly — competent. First, her office is modern and her staff is extremely professional. She even has a flatscreen where you can watch Netflix, Youtube, Hulu, etc. during your procedure! Dr. Cohen performed a gum graft on me, which is several hours of intense surgery. Never once was I uncomfortable or in pain, and the recovery was similarly event free. She is also my regular dentist and always does an amazing job. When I ran into reimbursement issues with my dental insurance she called them immediately to sort everything out. I highly recommend Dr. Cohen for any and all of your dental needs.

Dr. Cohen was kind enough to squeeze me in for a cleaning at the last minute. This was hands down the best cleaning I have ever had… no contest. She took her time and was incredibly thorough. The visit was completely painless and I was able to enjoy a movie while she worked her magic. She answered all of my questions patiently and was very attentive. Also, the front desk was very accommodating and friendly. From start to finish, this was a great experience.
