Wild Lizzy’s got started in the Fall of 2013; Liz wanted to do something more as her children became young adults so she decided to start a business. She knew how much people raved about her saltine cracker cookies that she made for the past 20 years, so after much research, she started selling them! The cookies are made up of saltine crackers, toffee and chocolate. Liz came up with different variations of these sweet and salty treats by sending out samples to friends and family all over the States. She signed up for street fairs and events on Long Island and Wild Lizzy’s took off from there! After a few short months, Wild Lizzy’s won «Best New Product» by LI Food Critic as well as Liz winning «Best Chocolatier on Long Island»! She has taken home trophies as «Best in Show» among being recognized for fundraisers and tasting events.
