Top Cuts

So annoyed with this place. I have been a customer at Top Cuts for over 10 years. I get my hair colored religiously every 10 to 12 weeks, get my hair cuts there and have had keratin treatments and updos done there as well. Usually I go to Carmella or Christine and am very pleased, but they weren’t available yesterday. So, because I only needed a color, I figured it was ok to go to someone else. WHAT A MISTAKE!!!
I arrived exactly at my appointment time…2:00. The nasty woman, Denise, who was to do my color was busy blow drying another person. Twenty minutes later she was finally done. She applies the color…35 minutes later the bell goes off. Noone comes over or recognizes that my color needs to be rinsed out. I look over and Denise is now cutting someone else’s hair! I tell one of the other stylists that the bell had gone off… she goes and tells Denise who just nods. «Bitch,» I thought. Then the big boss came over to ask me if there was a problem. She was a winner too. I tell her that I’m tired of waiting… she tries to tell me that its ok. SERIOUSLY? Usually I’m in and out in an hour or hour and 15 mins tops… This time was two solid hours!!! 45 minutes spent waiting while this bitch is doing other people’s hair!!! Someone else cut and dried my hair. Denise apparently isn’t proficient in math either because I had a coupon for $ 5…and the bill was $ 80 and she somehow came up with $ 78.
TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE… ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!!!

Great place to get a haircut. I have used many salons (cactus salon, local salon, local barber). I get a great haircut for a reasonable price. My entire family gets our hair cut at Top Cuts. The staff is friendly. They are great with children. If you have an appointment, the wait is never that long. I recommend them to all my friends.

I had never been to Top Cuts before, and I’ll admit that the only reason I made an appointment was after seeing the salon featured on a tv show — but I’m so glad I did! When I arrived at Top Cuts, I was greeted by friendly staff members. The girl who washed my hair was really nice and gave me a great experience just with the wash. I was then taken to Joan’s station and I attempted to tell her what I wanted, realizing I wasn’t even sure exactly what that was. She was very patient, gave me honest feedback about what would look good and what wouldn’t, and helped me to decide on a cut I would be happy with. She spent a good amount of time cutting, and she was really friendly. That was the vibe I got from the entire salon; everyone was friendly like it was its own little community. I felt like I was at a salon I’d always been going to, which is important to me. When she was finished, I was very happy with my new look. And the best part is, I love the cut more and more each day. I am very pleased with this salon, Joan does excellent work, and I’ll be a regular customer here from now on.

Great Salon. Walked in tonight and patiently waited only about 15 minutes for a wonderful haircut and blow out with Christine. Love the renovations! Keep up the good work.

I took my daughter to Top Cuts this past Saturday morning without an appointment. It was her first haircut at a salon. It was a very clean and we were treated very respectfully and were asked to wait about 15mins. Annie shampooed her hair and Carmella cut her hair. Both the ladies were very friendly and took great care of my daughter. We were very happy customers and will definitely go back.

This place is okay for a last minute hair cut. I don’t go here reguarly or anything like that. I just come here when I am in desperate need of a hair cut and my place is booked. I’ve never had the bad experiences other people posted however. Generally an ok experience each time.

Edit: I’ve been here another time more recently and it was a good experience.
I’ve been sitting here for 45 minutes when they told me 15 minutes when I walked in. I understand if you don’t have appointments available for a walk-​in, but don’t tell me yes and leave me sitting here. This is ridiculous. Then, when I complained they told me to «walk back to get shampooed» no direction whatsoever. Where the hell am I going? I don’t live here. Hopefully this haircut doesn’t suck, but this is my only day off during the week and after the wait, I don’t have time to go somewhere else.

DON’T GO HERE! they give really bad hair cuts, the place is dirty and they don’t care about customer service. I had to wait almost a hour for my appointment. It looked like my hair didn’t even get cut. infact i had to get it cut again at another salon and they were shocked I just got a hair cut.
