Top Dawg Tavern

My family decided to try Top Dawg Tavern while shopping in the area. The food was excellent and the service was fast and friendly. The dining area is spacious so even if it’s crowded you don’t feel «packed in».

Awesome place to come hang out and drink a cold beer with some great food.
We love the music too !!

The wife and I were here again tonight and yet another good meal with good service. She had the Crispy Chicken Salad and I had the Cajun Tilapia. Huge salad and the fish was seasoned perfectly. We love the Blue Cheese Slaw.

Great people, wonderful staff, GREAT WINGS, fun place, if you experience an issue however slight or vast the staff will pound on any chance to correct it and always in your favor, great business. Eat here all the time wonderful time!

If there was a negative 5 I would give this fake burger place. I was a bit suspicious when our orders arrived in just 3 minutes after ordering. When I bit into my burger the truth was known. It was a precooked Patty then microwaved to order. There is no other way for food to be so hot all the way thru like that unless it was microwaved. I have cooked for many years and it is a crime to call this food. The worse place on earth. To say the food sucks would be a compliment. The Place is very nice and staff is OK. Oh BTW hair in the food. Oops! OK that happens sometimes but not a good impression. Won’t be back ever! Good luck Top Dawn you’ll need it. For a price I could show you how to cook a burger.

I like the outdoor covered patio. My husband and I got the soft pretzels and were impressed. I built my own salad and loved it. Hubby got the chicken bbq nachos and loved them. They could add some additional menu items. They do have a good draft beer selection.

I thought the food was meh, the chicken wings were really small and not that good. I’ll drive 40 mins to MOG Taco Mac. We are here once, never again.

Service was slow. Food was mediocre. They served us brown, rotten broccoli. Better off somewhere else.

The wings have been undercooked my last two visits. Not only are the flavors not very good, but the wing sauces and salad dressings taste like they are straight out of a plastic jug. Every restaurant should hand make their sauces and dressings. I’ll be getting my wings at the competitors until something changes.

Good burgers and that’s about it. Meatloaf sandwich tasteless, grilled grouper sandwich under cooked, fish and chips… Mrs Paul’s I mean right out the box… but the beer is always cold and the bartenders are always great!

I enjoy Top Dawg for it’s Patio and service first, the menu seems to be a little lacking. The build your own salads are great-​but I would love to see some other healthy alternatives. A veggie burger would round out the menu for those of us that don’t want salad every day.

Great environment but bad service and equally bad food. Everything tastes like it was frozen for too long. You could seriously get better food from a fast food restraint nearby. We’ve been there twice and both times it took 30+ minutes to get even water. This isn’t the kind of place I go to to spend 2 hours at for a meal… I would not recommend this place to anyone.

This place has the best make your own salads which rival any upscale restaurant. I’m not a hot dawg fan, but theirs are all beef & really tasty. Try some of those onion rings too. A yummy heart attach waiting for us!

From the day Top Dawg Tavern has opened, I have had nothing but great service… The waitstaff is always kind and courteous. The restaurant definitely has a sports feel to it and on select days they have live music. The wife and I enjoyed the food and the surroundings.
My only complaint is that the food tends to be overpriced.
This will remain One restaurant we will regularly go to.

Stopped by to try it out, atmosphere was great but the food was terrible, so gross, my husband got a hamburger and I got crabcakes, we could tell that everything we ordered was out of a bag frozen, he couldn’t eat his hamburger and the crabcakes had no taste, the only way I would go back is to just drink and enjoy the patio. Everyone was friendly.

I was a little nervous with reading the reviews on here but i knew i had to try for myself! Not only was the service top notch but the wings were delicious! Our server Paige was extremely friendly and was always making sure things were good and if we needed anything. Also Matt from the bar showing us all the different beer options they had. They must have read their previous reviews and made sure to fix everything that was wrong. Hands down i will definitely be back! The only thing i think that needs to change is a little more porter or stout beer options! :)

: my gawd!!! Is it possible to give a NEGATIVE star!!! This place deserves one. Better yet deserves to be shut down!!! Worst service ever! And the food is microwaved. The blackened fish? It was a frozen tilapia from walmart and sprinkled with blackpepper and then pan fried til black. It was tasteless. The chicken fingers? Really?! Microwaved frozen chicken fingers! It was soggy and greasy and rubbery! Is that even legal? Anyways, if you are ready for a frozen tasteless meal that you can get from Walmart yourself (Walmart probably has better options and selections and varieties of frozen meals) then come to Top Dawgs. The food portions are small and overpriced!

We went on a Friday night, so it was very busy. Got a nice large draft beer from the bar and enjoyed the wait time talking with our friends. The inside was very nice and well laid out. It is very open and didn’t feel to congested, even with all the other patrons.
While we were waiting, I was checking out the food that was being served to other tables in the restaurant. Looked really good, especially the wings. Yum!
The menu is fairly simple, but at the same time still offers a good variety. I of course ordered some wings, while my wife and daughter opted for burgers and fries. The wings were awesome. I got the mild and they had a little spice to them that wimpy people would say was hot. Next time, I will definitely try the hot ones.
The atmosphere of the place was just right for us. Not real loud and good music playing. Must have been on an 80’s station, because that was all we heard. Not a problem though being a child of the 80’s. Around 9 they switched over to live music. We only heard one song from the man playing guitar and singing, but sounded pretty good.
Overall, we were very pleased with Top Dawg Tavern and definitely will be back. I almost forgot, the prices were very modest and low compared to other eateries offering the same kind of menu.

This place is nice enough but thought the only food we ordered was mediocre at best. If you can’t get chips and spinach dip right then I am not going to waste the effort on something else. The food I did see being brought out looked okay. I sat at the bar but got put on the «pay no mind» list by the bartender so that cost them another star.
I gave it a 3 because the place was spotless and the patio was nice. There are TV’s out there to watch the games and for the NFL games they have the TV’s pre-​selected throughout before you get there. I appreciated the effort by the manager to accommodate the game I wanted to watch but some fans of the other teams were there so I understood that. I also felt there was kind of a family vibe there instead of the Sports Bar I had imagined. I went on a Sunday afternoon to watch football but would like to see what this place is like in the evenings and to listen to the music.
Overall I would definitely go back there for cocktails and maybe live music on the patio.

Stopped by to try out the new place in town and was disappointed.
I’m not a fan of order at the door and then take your number to your table. For the prices being charged I would have preferred to actually be waited on.
We went in about 1:30p during the middle of the week. We must have just missed the lunch rush as most of the tables were quite wet from being cleaned off. We finally found a dry table at the very back.
I Ordered the pulled pork sandwich which came with a side. The sandwich was on Texas Toast which must have come frozen because the toast was cold and limp. My husbands burger had a some extremely under cooked (raw) areas, which we probably would have sent back, but no one ever came by to check and see if everything was ok or not.
For a $ 20+ lunch ticket I expected much better.
