Shocked at all the 5 star reviews, until I noticed all the reviewers only have one or two reviews. This is the kind of place that makes me understand why the big box stores put these kind of stores out of business years ago… not sure how this place is still making it. It’s a bit of nostalgic memory I’m sure for a lot of folks but the only thing I learned from my visit is the place is cramped, no one smiles and the owner doesn’t support Musikfest… definitely not worth a stop for so many reasons.

I am the 3rd generation relying on the fine service and products from this multi-​generational family store. I get paint and traditional hardware here, get glass cut and bought my Stihl combination hedge-​trimmer/​brush-​cutter here.

Everyone loves this hardware store, as the folks are super friendly and gee, super helpful. Two locations, this is the original anchor store, and, this year, will celebrate its 90th year!
