Jim Coleman Infiniti

Found my 370z online, reached out to Jim Coleman inquiring about it. Vince contacted me that morning and I made an appt to stop by on my way home to take a look at it. After a quick test drive (this was my second Z) and 60 minutes later I was driving off the lot with a new car. They were awesome, worked with me and made this purchase happen. Went back a few weeks later for service and the guys were just awesome! Super happy I found my car and this dealership. I’ll definitely return when it’s time to trade my car in! Most people will say bad things about dealerships but this is definitely a dealer that I would recommend especially my sale agent Peyman Marandloui. This is my 10+ trips/​experience buying cars and this is the one of the best deals/​less hassle/​haggling I have personally experienced. I searched the internet and dealers for days before coming here so I knew what I want/​need/​price and they gave me all I ask for. I highly recommend internet Sale agent Peyman. Your time will not be wasted and you will get the best possible deal.

This review applies to both Sales and Service Departments at Jim Coleman Infiniti. We bought a fully loaded 2015 QX 50 from Vince, who was super-​helpful, straight up, and very knowledgeable about Infiniti new cars, pre-​owned cars, and trade-​in policies. We ended up with a great deal and transparent communication around what they could do and the value of what we were buying for the price. Breath of fresh air to have an honest conversation and feeling that we were going to be taken care of.
We’ve had the car now 6 months and LOVE it (never had an Infiniti before, and they are fantastic). We’ve taken the car in for a couple of routine services, which are painless. Vince continues to be responsive for a few questions & clarifications we got on operating the car, and the Service Department has been great about scheduling, follow-​ups, and performing good work. And for the one time we had to wait on our service (understandable on a weekend morning), Montgomery Mall is across the street (the dealership is in a very convenient location).
If you’re looking to get a new, pre-​owned, or used Infiniti (note they also have a decent selection of top quality used cars from other brands due to customer trade-​ins for new/​used Infinitis), ask for Vince and stop in to Jim Coleman Infiniti — you won’t be disappointed!

I had done all my research, I had checked all the facts, and I was finally ready to go in and take a test drive. I walk into the showroom and a younger salesman with a Eastern European/​Russian accent approaches me. Don’t feel like going into detail here about how horrible this guy was but I did write management before posting his review and they failed to responded. that leads people to doubt that they are looking for any honest feedback which is a shame.
Train your sales people to not just say cute catch phrases that aren’t true (Yes, people do use trunks these day) and actually respond to emails when people have valid critic. Reading through these reviews, you obviously have an issue.

Terrible service department. No walkins allowed. Needed to make an appointment for an oil change. This center Needs to learn from Lexus service centers about how to be hospitable. Jon from the service department was the one who handled my car and he wouldn’t believe that my window was rolling down whenever I closed the door. But it didn’t happen when I took it to the oil change. Was that supposed to be my fault? Very bad customer service. Car wash is a standard at Lexus. But some how not at Infiniti. He made me wait for an hour and 45 min for oil change and when I asked for car wash, was told I needed to wait for another 45 min if i needed it. All this on a weekday, at around 11 am. Was told they were very busy, and not a customer in sight.
Only person who wants to help and is very hospitable is Vince Leonard, the used car sales manager.
If you are looking for car service, please look elsewhere.

Startling with the day I came in to get my car and every time I come for service I always have an amazing customer service at this dealership. The staff is extremely attentive and my dealer Stas is very knowledgeable and accommodating. He was very patient with explaining the car specifics and the lease options to me (which is not easy given I am quite a silly girl when it comes to anything car related). Several times I had to reschedule my appointments at a very short notice and he always took a great care of that. Stas and my service guy Jon always makes sure I get in and out of there in the most efficient manner and my car is fixed and clean.
If you are looking for a great car/​great customer service package, I would definitely recommend checking out these guys.

Terrible. Stay away! Rude service people that don’t seem like they care what happens with your car. Also, If you want to have the work done on time go elsewhere. They said that they would have my car done in a day and now I have to take the bus and train home and back to them in the morning. Also, they charged me $ 210 for a defective piece even though it was clearly rattling and the car is under warranty. If you’re in the area, do yourself a favor and make the trip to Tysons Corner Infiniti for better service. I know I will never be caught dead again at this dealership. I am on my way to catch the bus because my «luxury» car dealership couldn’t take care of business.

Even I have an appointment still have to wait for 20 minutes to meet a Finance Director. When I walked in no one tell me where I should sit to be waited. Every time I walk in and I don’t feel that I’m welcome.

Worst experience I have had trying to buy a car. Mind you, this would have been the 9^th car I purchased. I went to this dealership this past weekend as they had a really pristine, one owner CPO G37 with 11K miles on it. I took it for a test drive, loved the car, and wanted to purchase it.
The gentleman I had been corresponding with, Floyd, seemed courteous, polite and like he wanted to sell a car. Unfortunately, he was unavailable so I was handed off to another sales person who I will not name. He was making a variety of rude/“funny” remarks to my friend and I throughout the experience.
This clown was rude, condescending and I left the dealership without continuing because his attitude was terrible. I love cars, and usually trade in my car ever year or so to get something else. I wanted to trade my MDX but was considering keeping it and perhaps buy the Infiniti as a second car (I drive many miles a year), but if this is the dealership I will have to deal with, I am going to look into other brands. Another customer lost to BMW.
Once the car is bought, the service is what keeps your customers!

The service department is incredible. I am a former Mercedes owner with high expectations. Today I stopped in with a low battery in my key fob without an appointment and was in and out in less than five minutes. Thanks!

So I went in today to get my oil changed, which was done quickly. They even cleaned it at no extra cost because it took a bit longer than expected. Overall really satisfied with this dealership from my Salesmen Stas to the GM everyone is here to please. Recommended!

I recently bought a car from Kirk at Jim Coleman infinity and the service was excellent from the time I stepped in till the time i drive off in my new car! I wish buying a car was always this pleasant!

I went in for my regular oil change at 7am and there was no customers in there, they told me it will take about 30 min but looks like a VIP client walked in and they took his car first, I was told that he is still working on my car and they don’t know why it’s taking so long. This is not my first horrible experience with Jim coleman, the other time I took my car in for service they stole everything that was in the car, when I complained to the manager he said he can’t do anything about it and now with the oil change I had to wait 2 hours for an oil change. I mean I like their cars but their service sucks out loud.

So I would like to distinguish this review from my previous one by saying this is solely for the Service Department and not the sales department… I still love you sales, I hope you are still nice to me when I decide to buy an Infiniti.
I had recently been noticing some noise coming from my front right wheel well and decided that I needed to take it into a shop to get it checked out. Keep in mind I have only had my car for 2 years, no real big trips or outlandish driving habits… and it has been serviced regularly. I needed a quick turn around for a beach driving trip and usually this is something I would have done myself… with the help of a friend, but I was in a crunch.
They were accommodating on a very busy Saturday and agreed to see me to see what was wrong with the car. After some waiting they indicated that I needed to replace my front and rear brake pads, and machine down the rotors and they also indicated that I needed new tires. $ 380 for the front end brake job, and $ 380 for the rear brake job. Then about $ 1200 for the tires.
Ok by all accounts, I did some research and it seems that brake jobs can cost anywhere from 400 to 800 depending on what type of brakes you get, the type of car you have and the charge in labor. So being as I did go to an infiniti dealership, I did get quoted the high price… that was my fault.
I did not have the money to pay for all of that and so I put a call in to a friend to help me out with this situation. (I know I should have done this first, but I didnt expect to get a $ 2000 service quote).
I went to my local car parts store, and was able to purchase front and rear brake pads, front rotors for less than $ 150. My issue was that after taking off the rims, and examining the brake pads and rotors, my pads were not even halfway worn out. The rotors were fine and did not need to be machined. This was the case for both the front and back pads and rotors.
Its always good to have a trusty mechanic friend that knows more about this stuff so you can always get a good quote and a fair assessment of your car before you get work done.
Be wary of the service department. Get a second look before you decide to give them a crap ton of your money.

I’ve had pleasant experiences with my prior purchase at Jim Coleman Infiniti, being the owner of a G35 sedan as well as a G37 coupe. However, this review is targeted towards their service department.
I’ve been having a recent minor issue with some noise from my engine compartment of the G35. I called the service department to make an appointment. I provide my info and the guy on the phone says he cant find me in the system and to call back. I tell him I should be in there since I’ve used them in the past. All of a sudden he starts talking to me about my G37 (thought he couldn’t find me in the system?)
As I start to tell him which car and what the problem is, he asks me to drop it off tonight using the night drop. Can I finish my sentence? I tell him I’m going to need a loaner. His response, «well we cant get you in until next week then. I was trying to get you in right away since there’s a problem with your car». Maybe if you’d let me finish, you’d know more about my circumstance.
He then says there’s going to be a $ 140 fee just to look at the car. Now I’m wondering if that’s because I told them I’d need a loaner. I don’t care about the $ 140 fee on my $ 30k car, but dont use a tone implying that I need to be able to afford your fee or I can’t get service.
I genuinely hope the guy I got on the phone is new. This is not the type of customer service I expect from a facility like this.

The Cliff Notes version? Jim Coleman Infiniti is ROCK STAR. Everyone my family has ever interacted with here has simply been beyond reproach. The reasons we have always been happy are simple: they treat us as individuals, they listen with intent, they appreciate that customer relationships are developed and earned over time, and they always communicate with truthfulness and integrity.
We’ve been customers for a little over five years and we simply cannot imagine doing business with anyone else. To be fair; we expect car dealers to be profitable. They are not a charity. As long as the pricing is easily understood, they remain market competitive, and they retain their quality and service excellence, I cannot imagine why anyone would have complaints.

I love this dealership to have my car serviced! I always felt like a valued customer. They were so nice and always assisted me with every request that I had. The service adviser I had is no longer working there but he was the best! And now that I live in VA, I go to another infiniti location but I wanted to make sure I shared my great experience on here!

I have two rules about cars: first, I hate getting my car serviced. I feel like mechanics and garages and car dealers are always lying, recommending thousands of dollars of unnecessary repairs. And second, I hate getting my car serviced (did I tell you, Unilocal,about the time a garage owner kept calling me «the little lady?» Not good). You get my point.
So when my 2002 infiniti (which I lovingly call either the jalopy or the hoopty) was acting up, I decided to take it to the dealer for service under a theory that they would know more about the car’s quirks than a mechanic at a garage who services many different kinds of cars.
My first impression of Jim Coleman, I must confess, was bad. I walked into a crowded service area, and the first person who greeted me (and I’ll use the term «greeted» loosely) asked my last name and then seemed mystified by its spelling (mind you, my last name is 4 letters and as straightforward as they come). After a few minutes of back and forth with me spelling my name and her looking confused, she then told me I didn’t have an appointment. «You’re NOT in the computer!» she said gruffly. When I pulled out my phone and showed her the confirmation I had received after scheduling an online appointment (thank you iphone!), she said «oh I guess you do. Have a seat.» Hm. She seemed to be forgetting that portion of the conversation when she says «sorry about that.» Or «my fault.» Not very impressive.
Luckily, the person I saw after the front desk woman was much friendlier, and more efficient. He recorded the problem and told me he’d have my car tested to figure out what was going on. Unlike a lot of car people, he actually called me in the afternoon to report in on my car, and also sent me an email to let me know my car was ready. Points for that. And then, a sign of Coleman’s honesty: After examining my car, they said they had absolutely no idea why my car has been behaving temperamentally — and they charged me *nothing* for the diagnostic tests. The man who helped me said «I can keep your car overnight and test it again tomorrow if you’d like, or you can bring it back if it starts acting up again. Otherwise, you don’t need any repairs.» I was appreciative of their honesty– a lot of other places would have suggested thousands of dollars of nonsense repairs (and hey, my car ended up getting a nice car wash and spending a day at a garage and I didn’t spend a penny. It was like a playdate for my car!).
One other weird thing though: The online appointment scheduler has an option «Do you need a courtesy shuttle to the metro?» I checked yes. When I asked my «car representative» where I could get the courtesy shuttle to the metro, he seemed genuinely confused, and then said «No we don’t offer shuttle service. You have to go over to Toyota and sit on the bench, someone will pick you up.» And then he escorted us to the infamous bench. The good news is that someone came quickly to get us. The bad news is that the folks at Infiniti acted like I was a crazy person for suggesting that there was transportation to the metro when their own website asks customers if they want to use the shuttle. (Note to Coleman: when people are paying premium prices at the dealer, they don’t want to hear «No we don’t offer shuttle service.» That’s silly!) When I asked how I would get from the metro back to Infiniti later that day, I was told a shuttle runs back and forth *every thirty minutes*. Picturing myself sitting at Grovesnor-​Strathmore for 30 minutes on a humid, rainy July afternoon gave me the blues so I ended up taking a taxi back to Jim Coleman.
I still don’t like getting my car serviced. Nor do I like car dealers. But this wasn’t bad. I came out no poorer, and with some of my faith in car people restored.

I have mixed feelings about this dealership because I have dealt with multiple people at multiple levels. In the beginning, I came to Jim Coleman to service my car unfortunately at the start, I didnt get to pick my service manager. I dealt with a very temperamental person who always acted like something was up his behind. The last straw for me was when I saw a ink mark on my biege leather seat at the passenger side after the service, I told him that it was not acceptable and he blamed it on me instead. He acted like he was doing me a favor when I asked him if he had something he could use to remove the mark. I told him to save it. It was over.
Somewhere along the horizon I remembered Mr Jyun Lee whom helped me checked my tire pressure late one evening when the other manager was not there. So I asked for him instead for the future servicing. If it’s not because it was so close to me and that the next Infiniti was somewhere in Virginia I would have jumped ship.
Jyun had been awesome he was not pushy or fabricating some additional service my car should have like the past experience, he did everything in a timely manner and boy he had the most wonderful manners compared to the other dude. I lost count the number of times the previous dude ripped me off. The other day Jyun even greeted me at the door because I was confused after the renovation. He came out to help me to get my bearings right. (He gets 5 stars from me.)
It’s a shame customers pay to deal with bad attitude in the service industry.
The new car, I was told there would be a walk-​through with the features but it never happened despite meeting with the sales person several times. I went there for my new car oil change and to my surprise, it was complimentary along with the car wash. However, as I was leaving I saw a huge oil stain on my arm rest — I wouldnt even consume food in my car and here I was getting an oil stain. I didnt quite understand why odd things as such kept happening at this dealership.
