Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner

I was born in the Philippines and came to the U.S. when I was 14 years old. I’ve been teaching Zumba for 8 years and since November 2013 at the Berkeley Adult School (B.A.S.).

My hubby is the one who inspired me to teach Zumba. Prior to becoming an instructor, I didn’t really exercise. He is an avid biker and snowboarder. I needed something to keep up with him!

I do have a day job. For 15 years, I’ve been the Admin Queen of an investment firm in SF. I’m so grateful for my classes at B.A.S. I can always count on Monday to end on a high and for Wednesday (hump day) to get me through the week.
