History

Established in 2013.

Centered in the emerging creative hotbed of the San Pablo Corridor in Berkeley, Spacepop is a mecca for modern curiosities of art, furniture, and décor. The art and design gallery was born in 2013 from a deep-rooted respect for the creative process.

Inspired by all things bright, eclectic and spiritual, Spacepop aims to cultivate an aesthetic of the highest vibration possible with each unique piece. Much more than just a retail or gallery destination, Spacepop is a multidimensional creative space deeply rooted in artistic discovery and collaboration.

Spacepop provides a platform for established and emerging artists to showcase their creativity across a wide range of mediums.

Meet the Business Owner

Jack M.

Business Owner

Jack Mueller has been hunting for treasure at Flea Markets, Estate Sales, and Auctions for virtually his entire life. His mother was an interior designer when he was a child, and she would often bring Jack along to the many antique and consignment stores she frequented. In high school he would spend his weekends at garage sales searching for deals, and he furnished his first apartment exclusively with second hand items. In 2011 he decided to turn his passion into a business, and joined the antique-modern collective Stuff on Valencia Street in San Francisco. Two years later Jack opened Spacepop on San Pablo Avenue in Berkeley.
