Established in 1999.

We started our firm with the mission to provide exceptional client services to immigrants and their families from all over the world. We have helped clients from more than 75 countries, and we are familiar with political conditions and cultural norms around the world. Meet the Business Owner

Joye W. and Cara J.

Business Owner

Joye Wiley has more than 15 years of experience with visa and citizenship issues in the U.S., focusing on family immigration, DREAMers, and asylum. With the demise of DOMA, she is putting her expertise to work for the LGBT community. She has lived and worked abroad, is fluent in Portuguese and Spanish, and has served in leadership positions in several professional organizations for immigration lawyers. She has been listed as one of the top Immigration Lawyers in Northern California by Super Lawyers magazine for many years.

Cara Jobson, a graduate of the University of California at Berkeley’s Law School (Boalt Hall), is an expert in LGBT asylum issues and a skilled appellate lawyer, and frequently handles immigration issues with constitutional implications before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. She has lived in Mexico and El Salvador and is fluent in Spanish.
