Established in 2005.

Since starting my delivery business I have serviced most of the UC Berkeley student body as well as several furniture stores in the Berkeley area. Trove, Oh baby baby, and Rockridge furniture just to name a few.

Extremely satisfied with the service I received from Bill @ Superior Hauling. I used his services for the company I work for in downtown Berkeley and he was extremely responsive, helpful and affordable! Excellent communication to coordinate the hauling of all our items. It was indeed a pleasure to work with him. In fact, I immediately recommended him to the property manager for our building so that she could forward Bill’s information to her other tenants. As we keep hiring staff and purging old files, we will continue to use Bill’s services. I am hoping that when I find a new apartment he can help me move! Great job, Bill. Thank you!

This review is not for Bill, the owner, but for his partner Jaime. I called the number and e-​mailed to try and schedule service. Jaime was the one to get back to me first. He said he could make it at one time, and then kept pushing that time later and later. He did inform me each time, which was helpful, but in the end he tried to charge me more than their ad on craigslist claimed, and when I asked him about it he immediately said he had an emergency and couldn’t make it– leaving me stranded after hours of waiting for him. Like I said, this is not for Bill, who did get in touch and seemed responsive, but for his business partner Jaime. I’d just make sure you know which person you’re getting and be prepared to possibly be left without service.

Excellent service from a professional, very courteous and personable individual. Found Bill on craigslist and left message. He returned message promptly and provided a very reasonable price quote. We worked out a date for help moving my washer and dryer to Santa Cruz from storage. He had to cancel on original planned day do to child being sick but worked it out for the next day. Came on time and worked out great. He managed everything himself. Was very careful. Would definitely recommend. Very easy guy to work with.

Bill George did an excellent job in helping me clean out my garage. Old tools, gardening debris, discarded furniture, a heavy wooden palette – he removed all of it easily and quickly. I recommend him and work highly.

Bill is as good as it gets. Hes prompt, friendly, responsive, and professional.
I called several different movers on craigslist who never returned my calls, or told me it was extra to help me move a couch inside my building. I called Bill and left a message explain the distance and the item I needed moved. He promptly called me back and I told him a great price $ 35, and he said of course he would help me bring the couch inside my apartment.
Bill arrived early to the location, and we moved the couch out of the sellers house and he hauled back my apartment asking if I needed a ride too.
Overall I would highly recommend Bill to any other Cal students, or locals living in the Eastbay he need to move something

Great local business. Superior Hauling came to my rescue after a disastrous move with a terrible moving «company» (Movers Anonymous). I sent an email to the company in the middle of the night and received a response via email and text message from the owner, Bill George, the next morning. Bill was professional and responsive. He worked with my schedule and showed up on time.
His truck was clean and everything made it to the new house in excellent condition. Bill offers a great service — perfect for small moves, picking up purchases from Crate N Barrel et al, Craigslist purchases, hauling, cleaning out your garage, etc. I wish I’d known about him sooner.
His prices are reasonable and he was more than fair. Honestly, I wish I could have paid him more.
Plus, he is the proud papa of a beautiful, brand new baby girl! Gotta love a family man!
I will definitely use Superior again!

This is a great guy running an excellent small business. He’s helped me haul stuff I’ve bought on craigslist on multiple occasions, and he’s always been prompt, friendly, responsive, and careful with my things. Plus, he has great rates and has been available for me on short notice, too! Superior Hauling has my business permanently for anything I need moved.
