When I went to Julia last year it was the second time in a year that we had to move due to our landlord’s property being sold or foreclosed on. Everything was going wrong including a potential new landlord trying to scam us. After that we had to move our house in a span of 48 hours to meet a deadline with the bank. In the end my nerves were shot and I couldn’t eat or sleep. After one appointment I wasn’t just back to normal– I was on cloud nine!

I have been to a lot of acupuncturist. Julia is truly one of the best I have ever been to. She is a true healer. One who takes great care in her patients. She is actually the most nurturing health practitioner I have ever been to and is extremely knowledgeable and gentle. There is nothing worse then going to a doctor and instead you feel like you have gone to a mechanic. She is the absolute contrary to a formulaic, cold doctor in a hurry to get to the next thing that isn’t you. She applies all of her knowledge and skills in every session and has always been completely thorough with me. I leave every session feeling deeply renewed. Julia is also very knowledgeable about herbs and nutrition and uses sound therapy. I moved from Berkeley to San Rafael over a year ago and I still commute to see her. That is how good she is. Parking and location is easy and her rates are very reasonable. I highly recommend her to anyone seeking acupuncture.

Julia is a true healer. She has helped me hugely with some woman’s health issues and saved me from some scary procedures that my doctor said were on the horizon. I leave her office feeling calm, well nurtured and relaxed, which is miraculous for someone who hates needles. I recommend her very highly.

Julia is fantastic! She loves what she does and it shows. She is extremely gentle, knowledgeable, and caring. She can advise you on herbs and nutrition as well. Julia has also treated my son with tuning forks for a cough and foot pain with great results. We think she’s great!

I went to see Julia for sciatic pain which had become unrelenting and at times unbearable. Within a few VERY pleasant and nurturing sessions, the pain was gone and-​knock wood-​has not returned in the six months since my last treatment. Julia is gentle and kind, as well as being a gifted healer.
While my sciatica was the focus of the treatment, she also helped me with allergies and gave great advice regarding how to treat my kids’ ear aches and colds.. .. Her table is THE most comfortable place for a little nap.
