Specialties

Our specialty is the fresh baked artisan bread. Both our Foccacia and Honey wheat is prized by many. Our most popular sandwich is our Rosemary Garlic Chicken and our Vegetarian sandwiches.

All our sandwiches is accompanied by a side of pasta, potato or green salad. We pride ourselves on our customer service, mom and pop style of business, and on our efficient service.

We also offer sesame seed oil based spicy tofu for our vegans.

Our wireless access is always free and power outlets are plentiful.

There’s plenty of light even at night. No more dim seating areas.

History

Established in 1982.

Established in 1982, Sufficient Grounds was originally a bakery. The only one in town. After many years and rent hikes Sufficient Grounds exchanged hands, changing with each ownership their own style of business that works.

Over the last six years or so, they have been known to make sandwiches; incorporating their artisan bread. Today, they are known for their sandwiches, free wireless internet, and mom and pop mentality business practice.

Sadly, they will close April 20th, 2010. Due to lease rental hikes and problems with property management, Sufficient Grounds can no longer sustain another year of a loss. Though there are many, many people who frequent Sufficient Grounds it does not compare to the high rent, triple net fees and three percent of triple net not to mention the high cost of labor, raw ingredients, and power consumptions. It’s hard to imagine how the current owner (s) have been keeping a business a float.

Alas, like all good things they must all come an end.
