History

Established in 2014.

I am a certified massage therapist in the State of California. I first qualified in Swedish massage in 1992, back in London, England. I have been practising massage non-​stop ever since then. At the turn of the century, I qualified in Chinese Medicine, which included Tuina, or traditional Chinese massage. The wonderful advantage of this was that it brought the «technology» of the meridians and acupuncture points to my massage, and so I can engage the body’s energy system to achieve concrete, clinical results.

Having moved to the U.S. in 2013, I received my California State Certification in 2014, and I deepening my studies in Traditional Chinese Medicine.

I was first put in contact with massage through learning Tai Chi, and I qualified in Western massage in 1992. At the time, AIDS was the prevailing force on the alternative health scene in London, so my first positions were in the world of hospice and palliative care for the terminally ill: a very powerful and moulding experience.

Leaving London, I worked on board the cruise liner, the Costa Romantica as a massage and beauty therapist, after which I went to study Chinese Medicine in England, Ireland and China.

I then moved to Italy where I worked privately as a bodyworker and acupuncturist. I taught massage in State recognised Cosmetology schools, and worked as a technical and creative consultant to cosmetic companies developing massage protocols for spa treatments.

In 2013, I moved to the States (for love), so here I am, hands at the ready
