History

Established in 1985.

Paper Plus is a unique, 3,000 square foot retail party supply store packed to the ceiling with party goods and supplies, balloons, piñatas, concession rentals, greeting cards, decorations, costumes, wigs, holiday items, wrapping paper, themed birthday party supplies, and so much more. It’s a one of a kind party goods store in Berkeley, CA. In the beginning, we were mostly a stationery and closeout paper store receiving closeouts from Papyrus, card reps and gift show booths, an have expanded far beyond that. 15 years ago, we started balloon delivery. Now we do all kinds of custom balloon décor: everything from birthday balloons, Mylar balloons, Bar/​Bat Mitzvah balloons to 100 year old birthday party celebrations. We have a certified balloon artist on the premise and our employees have extensive balloon expertise. At Paper Plus, we love hearing our customers exclaim «You have everything.» We are your one-​stop party store shopping experience.

Michele has owned Paper Plus since its beginnings in 1985. She grew it from a small stationery and closeout paper store to the party store it is today — your one-​stop shop for party goods, balloons (delivery too), costumes and nearly every party supply you can imagine — plus concession rentals too.
