History

Established in 1948.

Oaks Jewelers was founded in 1948 by Henry Accornero and his half brother, Bob Zavattaro. At that time, the store was approximately half the size it is today, and was operated solely by the two dedicated brothers. Later, Henry’s wife Angie joined the Oaks Jewelers team.

Today Oaks Jewelers continues to be family-​run, and is currently owned by Henry’s youngest son, Jeff Accornero. Henry continues to work at the business he founded nearly 65 years ago, as does his daughter Cheryl. Jeff’s two daughters, Melissa and Lindsey, also help out at the family business. With the dedication of experienced sales representative Colleen Abramovitz, and watchmaker Larry More, the Accornero family continues to preserve Oaks Jewelers’ legacy of superior customer service, and quality fine jewelry.
