The Mindful Bodywork Technique (MBT)
Greetings everyone,
The MBT is designed to stimulate and support the body’s innate healing system, is simple, and produces powerful, life-shifting results. MBT combines energetic healing with intensive body work to relieve pain, restore mobility and balance the mind and emotions. Clients describe MBT as «transformative,» «nothing short of a miracle,» and many report dramatic improvements after only one session.
What to expect in your 60-minute session:
a brief check-in and assessment of your condition,
MBT energetic «reset»,
followed by 40 – 45 minutes of deep-tissue manual therapy, including ART (active release technique),
concluding with a reassessment of your condition and discussion about some suggested activities to support your wellness.
Hope to see you soon. I’d love to show you how MBT works!
Best,
–Paul
History
Established in 1998.
I began working at the Holistic health clinic in the Castro in 1998 and remained there for about three years. During that time I applied the basic skills of therapeutic massage to give immediate relaxation and local relief of pain, using Swedish esalen and deep tissue massage techniques.
In 2001 I moved my office to Irving street Chiropractic Clinic and wellness center and rremained there till 2011. Over those ten years I improved my training and experience applying advanced skills for holistic relief including: assessing a client’s condition, creating a treatment plan, carefully tracking progress, and working towards resolution. For this I used the highly developed protocols of neuromuscular therapy (NMT) and neurokinetic therapy (NKT).
In 2011 I opened an office in Berkeley on Solano Ave and also started intensive training in Active Release Technique ART.,
