Destination Massage and Movement Techniques

i suffered with chronic hip issues (i couldn’t stand up without pain!), back, shoulder and neck problems for most of my adult life until i crossed paths with Jeannette. not only has she more or less eliminated my hip problem but she’s teaching me to use my body more correctly so as to not keep falling back into the patterns that led to my issues in the first place. she also fixed a weird problem with my mom’s hand that we thought was arthritis or a bone spur. she only saw Jeannette once and her hand is still fine!
my mom and i both thought our problems were incurable and would require terrible, invasive surgeries to correct. turns out that all we needed was someone who really understood how the human body moves and can tell just by looking at you what you have going on. nowadays i just basically stand there and let her figure it out. lol! it’s really quite remarkable.
it’s hilarious because now i’m so aware of my body and my movements that i often tell my friends «i’m gonna get in trouble for this» if i’m doing an activity (like canoeing!) that requires using one side more than the other. and sure enough, i don’t even have to mention what i did because she usually knows.
btw, she used to work at Mend in downtown Berkeley until recently, but i’m really happy she’s got her own thing now.

Jeanette is a miracle worker! During my very first meeting with her — she was able to identify my problem areas simply by looking at how I carry my body and in the way I was standing. Needless to say — she was 100% spot on and worked on all of them. I’ll never go to anyone else again!
