Kelsey’s teaching style is fresh, soulful and compassionate. Her mission is to teach yoga as a tool for cultivating more ALIVENESS! Drawing upon 12 colorful years of world travel, self– study and dedicated practice in a multitude of yoga modalities, Kelsey weaves a uniquely accepting classroom environment that encourages you to go deeper. Guided by adventurous sequencing, intuitive assists and Kelsey’s sparkling spirit, you can expect to sweat, strengthen and grow body intelligence in each class.
Kelsey specializes in Forrest Yoga, Prenatal Yoga & Trauma Sensitive Yoga. With an emphasis on choice, conscious breath and internal tracking, Kelsey holds a safe space for you to go deeper. All classes emphasize alignment & safety in the body. She loves teaching students of all levels and welcomes students who have survived trauma.
History
Established in 2009.
Kelsey fell in love with yoga during the most challenging period of her life. Yoga helped Kelsey overcome her own injuries, traumas, bad habits and addictions. Her daily practice now gives her the courage to live a life of integrity and passion. Her journey began in the deep study of Iyengar Yoga & Philosophy while she was a freshman at Colorado College. She later became certified in Hatha yoga & buddhist meditation. Her true love is in the Forrest Yoga lineage, which she considers most resonant with her true spirit. Most recently Kelsey became certified in Trauma Sensitive Yoga and is honored to serve her community by running a Trauma Sensitive Yoga program for survivors of sexual assault.

Kelsey is an empowered leader and bridger of community, committed to creating safe and joyful places for people to discover authentic expression and healing. Yoga teacher, doula, singer, filmmaker, artist, and world traveler, Kelsey’s work has spanned across diverse modalities and geographies. Her teaching style is fresh, soulful, and deeply playful, founded upon her belief that joy is an inherent bedrock of a healing spiritual practice. Yoga, meditation, creative expression and time in nature, helped Kelsey move through the darkest time in her life and to heal her own injuries, traumas and addictions. Her daily yoga and meditation practice now gives her the courage to live a life of integrity and passion while her singing and painting practices keep her conversant with her intuition and wild woman wisdom. Kelsey’s soul pledge is to serve her community through guiding others to discover their own innate healing intelligence.
