In today’s modern world, it can be challenging to balance everything you need to do — and that includes healthy eating. Some of us are rushed with so much to do, and some of us are trying to navigate dietary restrictions on top of everything else.
I’m Hilla Abel — a natural foods chef, culinary coach, and cooking instructor. I provide instruction, support, and resources to help you meet your food goals. Whether you’d like to feel more confident in the kitchen, want to eat more freshly prepared foods, need new recipe ideas, or have food restrictions, I can help you.
I offer:
* Culinary coaching ~ individualized support and resources to help you prepare the kind of healthful foods that are best for you or your family. Based on your needs, this may include: new recipes that fit your taste and diet, menu planning, strategies for how to cook with a busy schedule, short how-to instructional videos, food selection techniques, or kitchen re-organization.
* In-Home Cooking Classes ~ private cooking classes in your own kitchen. Choose from my list of classes (see my website), or let me customize a class for you. Classes are approximately 2 ½ hours long.
History
Established in 2010.
Inspired by her own dietary challenges, Hilla attended the Natural Gourmet Institute for Health and Culinary Arts with an aim to help others take control of their own food and make delicious, nourishing food for themselves and their family.

Hilla Abel is a natural foods chef, culinary coach, and cooking instructor. She graduated from the Natural Gourmet Institute for Health and Culinary Arts in New York City, and completed her internship at the raw vegan restaurant Pure Food and Wine.
