General Appliance is indeed shady, I found their number on line I called (209)425−1962 and get return calls from (925)658−4022 I scheduled a tech to fix my LG dryer that was not heating, everything else worked perfectly fine. When Victor arrived he went on and on about not everybody knowing how to fix LG’s and Samsung brands, he checked my outside breaker and could not move it over to off as it appeared to be jammed, he ignored this and went straight to work on my dryer, taking almost an hour to disassemble it? He was not able to find the problem and told me he was running out of time and had another job to go to, he did not charge me anything because he didn’t fix the problem. After he left I noticed he didn’t even connect the exhaust from the back to the wall nor did he plug it in? I was going to push it back and the lid was completely loose! I told my son about my whole issue and he came to hook the exhaust back up and found that the tech had broken the two gadget’s that held the lid shut! My son also checked my breakers and pulled it out finding it to be half blown, he replaced it using the AC breaker and my dryer HEATS now.
When I called General Appliance and spoke Erica she was nice and apologetic it appeared that they were going to do right and fix their techs damage after going back and forth the tech/​Victor call me and leaves me a message, I returned his call and what started as an ok conversation ended up in Victor hanging up on me! I got Erica back on the line, she put me on hold and basically told me it was Victors word against mine and they were NOT going to be able to fix the damage that Victor did to my 1 year 3 month old Dryer. He was the only tech that has ever touched my dryer and I’m SOL!
I do plan to take this to Better Business Bureau, it’s the principle of the matter, being a single person trying my hardest to make ends meet and having to deal with this type of business is uncalled for.

I called lake today around 3:50pm for a refrigerator repair, and when i called this company they were able to send a technician out right away, i was schedule a appointment from 5 – 7 and the technician Johnny arrive close to 5pm so right on time. right away he diagnose the problem with the refrigerator gave me an estimate that i was able to afford and he did the work same day, thank you because my food that i had jsut bought did not go to waist.
I sincerely recommend this company same day service, same day repair awsome!
