Meet the Business Owner

Skye and Christina B.

Business Owner

Skye grew up in the Bay Area and spent most of her early career training and helping shelter dogs. After spending several long years working at an emergency and specialty vet hospital she grew weary after seeing so many sick animals on a regular basis. As an appreciator of art and all things beautiful, she started dreaming of opening up a shop of her own. She wanted to open a shop that focused on beautiful things but also offered something bigger to the community. Meanwhile, Christina began imagining a future that supported both the creation and appreciation of art. With a deep belief that art knits people together in wild and unexpected ways, Christina wanted to establish a venue that moved away from the elitism of high-​end art galleries by making original art accessible. Christina’s background includes a BA in Journalism, MA in Sociology, certification in Alternative Dispute Resolution, and more than a dozen years of executive-​level management experience.
