History

Established in 2004.

My work as a Music Together teacher since 2001 led me to facilitating Kid’s Birthday Parties in the «style» of a Music Together class. Throughout that time I was also studying Vocal Improvisation and Drum Circle Facilitation (please read details on my website) and found much joy in the various types of group music facilitation.

Business Owner

Renée is a certified and seasoned Music Together teacher who has been joyfully leading children and families in facilitated musical experiences since 2001. Renée was first exposed to vocal improvisation at Mills College with Molly Holm in the Flux Vocal Jazz Improvisation Ensemble. Facilitating classes at Berkeley Vocal Improvisation since 2011, Renée, your supportive and joyful vocal guide creates an accepting and loving environment to sing and express your authentic emotions and sounds. New/​non-​singers welcome. Besides being a lot of fun, there are many other benefits to singing. It improves your lung capacity, physical energy, mental alertness and posture while enhancing your feeling of relaxation. Singing also uplifts your mood, and confidence while strengthening your immune system. Renee is a trained Drum Circle Facilitator with Arthur Hull of Village Music Circles.
