We are the Bay Area’s leader in one-​on-​one test preparation. Our program gives students the tools and confidence necessary to succeed on the SAT, PSAT, SAT subject tests (SAT IIs), and the ACT exams. We also offer individualized academic tutoring in math, science, English, history, and Spanish (and many other subjects!).

We specialize in adapting our approach to fit different learning styles. Our 1-​on-​1 in-​home tutoring is the most efficient and effective way to improve your score!

History

Established in 2005.

AJ Tutoring is owned and operated by Aaron Andrikopoulos and Joe Niederman. Friends since first grade at Walter Hays Elementary in Palo Alto, Aaron and Joe and their team are now the premier test preparation and academic tutors in the Bay Area.

Fresh out of college and eager to make their mark on the education landscape of the Bay Area, Aaron and Joe moved in with their parents and began working as private SAT tutors. Over the next two years, they drove from home to home, worked with hundreds of students, and generated a loyal following. AJ Tutoring grew out of Aaron’s and Joe’s private practices. Realizing that their time was limited, and frustrated by their inability to help all the students who needed their support, Aaron and Joe founded AJ Tutoring in 2005.

Their passion ever since has been to create a group of professional, charismatic, and energetic educators who share their passion for teaching.
