I’m a big fan of Krispy Kreme, I really am… stockholder and connoisseur of the place for years. Unfortunately, this review isn’t about quality of doughnut, but service. I decided for office holiday gifts I would give a Krispy Kreme coffee mug and gift certificate for a dozen doughnuts in a Krispy Kreme doughnut box… in total, 13 of each. With a nearly empty store, this process took 40 minutes… are you kidding me!!! First, it took 5 minutes to walk to the back to see if they had more mugs, then, after some difficulty, it took 10 minutes to scan gift cards. When I asked about the advertised gift card promotion, manager said they didn’t have any bonus cards left… finally, when pressured, he went back to get a portion of what I was entitled to… just don’t advertise it if it’s gonna be a pain. Finally, the kicker came when I had to wait a good 20 minutes for one of the cashiers to find out if she was allowed to give me boxes… seriously!!! To be fair, none of the employees where rude. All were nice. If service is going to be this slow, I’m starting to regret sending 13 colleagues here as a gift.

Great donuts all is good here. please don’t close this one down. The only downside is that when the red hot fresh donut light is on they don’t give it to you fresh. They reheat already cooked donuts in the oil then put glaze on it. It don’t taste the same. It’s too oily

As a child in Atlanta my dad would sometimes take me to an area called West End where there was a corner Krispy Kreme store. When the light, «Hot Doughnuts Now» was lit I knew that I was in for something special as the sign let me know that a fresh hot batch of the glazed was ready. I’m not sure what that sign means at this location. I was in the car with my girls and promised them some doughnuts. We were eagerly awaiting to see if the sign would be on and it was when we pulled up — were in luck… But not really. I pulled to the drive through menu and a voice announced, «come to the window.» I pulled around and waited and waited and waited. The workers simply ignored me. At one point a worker comes to the window area… But not to help us but rather to make a phone call??? I wanted to just drive away but I had promised my kids. So we continued to wait. Finally the guy who had made the phone call comes to the window and asks if I want to order??? I’m staring at him blankly not understanding why there was no, «sorry for the wait, ««sorry about that,» or anything. I order half a dozen glazed. He asks me if I want them hot. Duh. He then tells me that that will take an additional four minutes… But remember the Hot Doughnuts Now light is on!!! We wait the extra time and finally another guy brings a box to the window and doesn’t say anything — just sticks the box out of the window. I don’t immediately take the box and he finally says have a nice day. In all we waited over 15 minutes for six doughnuts. Horrible.

Worst glazed I have ever had at any Krispy Kreme location. To the point that we gave them away to a father and daughter in line. They get the donuts pre-fried and only glaze them on location. Which we caught right in time BUT, they were greasy and kept no glaze probably due to being too hot by the time they glazed them.

The venerable Krispy Kreme has been an institution for decades in the Southern portion of our United States. They enjoyed a bit of a boost in popularity in the late 90s and early 2000’s when they began opening some stores in the north in earnest. I personally discovered them while in Los Angeles in the early 2000’s and then hadn’t been to one for approximately a decade. When I moved to Pennsylvania Found myself on «Street Road», a name I love to say, what name is more befitting of the street then«Street». Anyway I digress at some point perhaps I will do a review on Street Road because it is like a giant paved mall. But back to the subject matter Krispy Kreme is as far as chain donut shops go sheer perfection. One just has to look at the case of donuts, which are perfectly uniform and look like they were dressed for a print ad, to see exactly what I’m talking about. As far as the customer service goes again they are second to none. Krispy Kreme offers a bit of southern hospitality and the feeling that they are truly glad to see you. I think that my favorite offering may very well be the coffee, it’s not«gourmet» though it is indeed flavorful with just the right amount of caffeine for most occasions. When compared to the donut chain competition whose initials are«D.D.» it becomes apparent just how good this coffee is. The donuts are sheer perfection I can’t imagine how one could make one that’s tastier. My favorite is the chocolate glazed but they are all caloric masterpieces. Check out Krispy Kreme of Bensalem and your day will most probably be 5 to 10% better(your mileage may vary).

While the red light was on, this location does not make fresh doughnuts. Mr. F saw the red light & went inside. To his surprise, this location’s definition of hot fresh doughnuts is a pre-made doughnut that is then run under hot icing to mimic the hot fresh red light doughnut. Avoid if you seeking a true Krispy Kreme fix.

I was very excited to see the sign for Krispy Kreme in the high way. Great I needed a break after being on the road for a while. I had not been to a Krispy Kreme store for a very long time. There are none in the area I live now. Found this store much smaller then the ones I remembered. It was clean and tidy. Although the neon sign for hot fresh donut was on, they had none to offer for free. That had been my memory from way back, light on and who ever walked in was offered a fresh donut. Got two donuts and tea from them. The donuts tasted real good with the first bite, then it had a very bad sugary after taste. Ended up throwing out the rest. At $ 1.29 each, It was just total waste.

We need a Krispy Kreme in New Jersey ASAP! I grew up with these doughnuts and have become bored with the ones at Dunkin Donuts. The BEST donuts here are the original glazed. They are good if ordered from the glass case but I reccomend finding out when«the light» will be on. HINT: when the red, neon Krispy Kreme light is on, the fresh donuts are being prepared. These fresh ones are as soft as butter and practically melt in your mouth! The staff is friendly, the service is great, and prices are cheap! This location also does fundraising, so whether you want to raise some money for an organization or order a ridiculous amount for yourself and pretend like you are selling them so no one judges you… Don’t be scared to try the other flavors… they are also very fresh and better than Flunkin Donuts!

Always my number 1 stop in the mornings before work. The coffee is superb, very fresh and hot, and the donuts are delicious(bet you cant eat just one) –love the variety they have. You can tell the difference in quality vs dunkin donuts. The staff is always pleasant and quick to serve you.

We come here at least 2 times a week. We come all the way from Trenton, NJ. Just for the donuts. Such a shame there is no location closer to us :) This place is great. 9 times out of 10, they have every single doubt available. There have been days we went in and they hardly had anything(we usually go around 11am) some of the racks were empty. We went today: had every single donut! We went on Monday(6⁄14) and they didn’t have much. I asked the lady if they had anymore Glaze Kreme Filled, and she told me no and she said«I don’t know when we will have more, depends what time the truck drops them off…» Not the best attitude. We ordered a dozen and without asking if we wanted anything else she went to the register and we stood there, she final came back over and we ordered the 1 speciality donut and she was like, «well how many more do you want?» She was the rudest employee I have ever encountered there. And as I said, we go 2x a week sometimes 3x a week. Overall, great place, great donuts, good customer service. Just wish KK would build a place closer to the Trenton area! Lol.

I was surprised by the variety of donuts that were available. I always associate Krispy Kreme with the original glazed donuts, but they had so much more! I also got sugar and cinnamon apple filled. The décor in this location was nice. They even had a couch. The guys that were working were both very nice and held a conversation with us. I will definitely be returning to this location.

Poor customer service. On Sunday evening(Mothers Day) I called KRISPYKREME to confirm hours and donuts. I was told by Joe, they were open and donuts were available. I explained I was traveling from New Jersey(20 minutes) and would be there to purchase a dozen treats. Arrived as promised, to locked door, called and spoke with Joe who informed me he’d sold 3 dozen before my arrival and they were closed. Disappointed. Irritated. Zero customer service!

Great, happy service. Donuts were warm and delicious! My experience was good enough to make me drive 5 extra miles to go to them instead of Dunkin.

There are really not many Krispy Kreme around. So basically feel honored to know that this one only out of a couple in pa. There is something about there donuts that will always have me coming back for more. Something that I like is they make them there, and get there early enough and there still hot. There everything bagel with garden veggie cream cheese. Is most definitely a winner and a must try. There coffee is okay. Not the best but to me it’s coffee I will be coming back hear more for there good Donuts.

I am 31 and had never had a Krispy Kreme donut, but after today, my life is now complete. I came in thinking, one donut will be enough to just try it out, I’m not much of a glazed donut fan, so I figured I’d try a pumpkin spice one instead. As we thought we had finished our order, the nice gentleman at the counter asked if we were interested in warm glazed donuts, because there were about ready. Well…I mean… if someone would’ve warned me that they used evil marketing techniques like this, I might have never come in! Except, as soon as he pulled out that rack of glistening beautiful O’s…I almost teared up looking at such utter bakery perfection. My order of 2 donuts turned into half a dozen. Upon the first bite, I knew no donut would ever compare to this very moment of sugary bliss. Glazed donuts should replace diamond rings in marriage proposals! Glazed donuts should replace bundt cakes during the holidays! These glazed donuts will pretty much replace everything evil in your life. Come to Krispy Kreme, but be prepared to never look at another round object ever again the same. I love you, glazed donuts!

Krispy Kreme– if you come here you have to ask for a hot glazed donut! Make sure they give you a hot one not a cold one as that is what they are known for. The size of the donut is small and you will devour the whole thing in about a 2.5 seconds! Its so good that it is hard to limit yourself, although you have to because of the calories, sugar, fats. The lattes at this location are actually really good! I had the vanilla latte and the hazelnut latte! Its light and refreshing and gives me the zing I need and what more can we ask as it is located just off of 95!

The addiction has not improved, and if anything it has gotten worse. Turns out, KK has a fundraising plan that allows the purchase of a larger quantity of their sinfully outrageous donuts to non-profits doing fundraising for their organizations at a nice discount. I guess that helps salve the gluttonous conscience when participating with your church or scout troops, but ordering most of the donuts for yourself. The thought of someone else eating your donuts is just too much to bear. May as well man-up and accept the fact that the crack they put in the donut fillings and glaze is overwhelming you, and that a stint in an in-patient addiction center is the only way to deal with this monster habit. A hot cup of coffee to help wash them down is a solid second option.

I was in the area for a conference and saw this place. We don’t have Krispy Kreme down my way. These doughnuts are no good for me, but they sure do taste good. Price is a bit expensive per doughnut, but buying one doesn’t make it too bad. Loved they had a drive-thru; I would not have stopped otherwise.
