Went to fix a fridge at my tenants. Called to check to make sure the invoice was supposed to get to me and I never heard from him again. When I asked my tenants what had happened, he’d told them he couldn’t fix the fridge without it being worth more than the fridge and suggested we ignore the strange sound the fridge was making since it wasn’t affecting performance. He and the tenants agreed that he should still contact me with so that I could make the choice but I never heard from him.
As a result, I had ended up selling a spare fridge not knowing that I may need one. Hopefully the guy is correct that nothing is needed, but I’m disappointed he never called.

Called to get a broken microwave fixed. Steve took a look and told us he needed to order a part (door switch). A week later we called to get status and were told the part had been ordered. A week after *that* called again and were told the part was no longer available. Either there was a communication mixup or we were lied to. Either way we wasted two weeks waiting for a non-existent part. Ended up fixing it myself in about two hours.
Would 1-star this review except I’m giving Steve the benefit on the doubt and assuming we weren’t mislead on purpose.

Good local guy to deal with. Steve has done several repairs for me and has been consistently fair, on time and has done a good job for me. I would recommend to a friend. Roy
