Ian Smith was raised on the beautiful island of Oahu. A life in the ocean and native forests of Hawaii naturally created a deep respect and love for the environment.

While attending OSU and receiving a Forestry degree, backed with a horticulture minor, Ian developed a passion for trees and the field of arboriculture. Becoming an ISA Certified Arborist and skilled tree climber, with focus on modern techniques (spikeless pruning) and safe work practices, was the next step to follow. Now with 10 years of forestry and arboriculture industry experience, Simply Arbor is ready to care for your trees!
