I have an array of loans available including Conventional, Jumbo, VA and ODVA (Oregon-​based veteran), FHA, FHA Streamline, HARP, and USDA Rural Housing programs. Being licensed in Oregon and California gives me freedom to work with my clients as well as their friends and family, across the border!

Fully supporting and guiding my clients, while partnering with realtors as a unified team, I make sure you end up with the mortgage that makes the most sense for your specific situation; whether you qualify for a single option, or three or four!

History

Established in 2007.

I thought «this is what I want to do with my life,» when introduced to the mortgage business in 2006, and I went all in. Not only was I good with numbers, I had a knack for organization and people skills that were strongly developed through my 9 years as an elementary school teacher.

Helping individuals and families with their mortgages was a simple decision because I’ve always valued empowering people to reach their life goals. With my experience in education, my strength is communicating to help others understand the many loan programs that are available to them, as well as when and why it makes sense to refinance.

I love helping people create the life they want in Central Oregon, where I’ve spent my whole life. I grew up in Madras, attending Central Oregon Community College, Oregon State University, and Eastern Oregon University. I also taught school in Sisters after completing my Masters Degree. Whether I’m whitewater rafting, snow skiing, or water skiing with my family and friends, I love to play! This community has my heart and my desire is to improve it; from being a part of Central Oregon Visitors Association (COVA) and Economic Development for Central Oregon (EDCO) to spearheading the installation of Central Oregon’s first 18-​hole disc golf course.

With a passion for people, I’m dedicated to go above and beyond with every one of my clients. Offering insight and encouragement along the way, I absolutely delight in walking through this process with you, making sure we structure the loan program that best fits your specific needs. For the most part it was difficult working with Kathy. She was impossible to get a hold of outside of business hours (or on her vacation) and didn’t communicate with me through every step of the process. I was always the one following up to ask about the next step instead of her telling me what the next step would be. My friend was smart enough to see these issues early on and was smart enough to work with another lender. However, I was far enough along it was too late for me to easily switch. I’m glad I’ve worked with other lenders buying other houses – I imagine it would be very difficult to work with Kathy as a first time home buyer.
She forgot to update me how much money I would need at closing, resulting in me scrambling for thousands of dollars last minute, and resulting in costly unnecessary wire fees. She apologized this and said she would ‘absolutely reimburse me’ for these fees. It’s now been almost 3 months and I haven’t heard another word about it from her.
She did admit she was busier than she had been in the past and hired an office assistant – maybe that will help her with her future clients. However, I will use another lender for my next purchase in Bend.
