These guys have the best Pizza in Bend. Nuff said.

When I lived in Bend I used to come here most days on my lunch breaks. The crew knew my order and would start making it before I got in the door. I moved to Salem 4 months ago and I came back to Bend for business and the crew still remembered me. Cibelli’s is by far my favorite pizza place. I always get my money’s worth. Now I just need a location in Salem :)

I called for my pizza and they said a ½ hour and when I showed up they looked and started laughing because they forgot. They said it would be 6 minutes and then asked if I wanted 2 liters. There isn’t really any other pizza places close by for pick or delivery. Otherwise I would go somewhere else.

Had the antipasto salad(AMAZING) to go with combo pizza. Thought the small salad could have definitely fed two people.

The reason I am posting this review is the fact that I sent my husband in there to order a pizza and have pineapple added. To have additional toppings added it’s only $ 2.75 for each. They charged us $ 40 for a pizza because we wanted one additional topping, one. We will never be going back there again. They could have charged us for a veggie pizza and added the additional topping but instead charged for a cheese and added 6 toppings at $ 2.75 each. This is absurd. Horrible service. I do not recommend Cibellis if this is the way they handle their customers and rip them off.

This was extremely expensive cardboard … Reminded me a lot of the old Dominos before it became edible… the word BLAW comes to mind

5 Star quality indeed! That slice was bigger than My head! Had the bbq chicken pizza and I couldn’t ask for a tastier pizza and for that price! Even better!

Great quality and size for the price, the $ 3.50 giant slice will fill you up and is tastey. Great for two travellers that struggle to eat out on $ 10 or less. They have not gone out of business as a previous tip said, but the Unilocal address is wrong. I guess they have moved locations, as they are now by the Ross.

Really like their pizza, especially the Greek. Good by the slice too, they make each slice to order.

Happy to find Cibelli’s in Bend. I love pizza and their ‘Everything Greek’ pizza was fabulous. I’ll be back and looking forward to it.

Best pizza in town! And by far the biggest box of pizza I have ever seen! The service was awesome and the prices are so reasonable.

Not the best pizza I’ve ever had but getting there and definitely the best in town. I was skeptical about this place after talking to a couple people in town who made Cibelli’s seem underwhelming and hacky… Not so! A friend of mine ordered a big round of pizzas for her son’s birthday party a couple months ago and I got a good sample of several of their pies. I was super surprised at the quality of them. Excellent! She’s from New York state and she thinks Cibelli’s is the most like NYC style than any other place in town… I have to agree. I have had NYC style myself straight from the source and THAT was the best pizza bar none. Anyway, I think what makes the pizza so good is the sauce… spiced right with strong Italian flavors and their quality of meats is excellent as well… Their meat is, well, meaty and spicy, too. You know when you eat mediocre or poor pizza and the meat is flavorless and uninspiring? Cibelli’s will make your taste buds do a back flip and set your mouth to ‘Party Time’. ha ha.

We were staying close by in vacation and decided to have pizza our last night. Very good service and really enjoyed the pizza. Some pizza places get too fancy with their sauces and this was just really good pizza. Hit the spot for us, would go again, need one in Salem!

Great place to grab a quick slice of New York style pizza. Greasy but good and pretty darn affordable. Plus they’ll sell you their dough to take home and make your own homemade pizza!

Giant New York style pies. Seriously huge. I needed help carrying the box. It was really good. So yah.

I am very picky when it comes to pizza, particularly the crust and they in my opinion, do have the best crust in Bend. Their prices are very reasonable compared to others in town though very conservative(at least the east side location) with their already OK quality pepperoni. I specifically ordered a specialty pizza with pepperoni covering the entire pizza. I told them three freakin’ times how important the pepperoni was to me! The guy who made my pizza was the same guy who took my order! They charged me for extra pepperoni but the finished pizza looked like a standard pepperoni with a few large pieces scattered around. That said, I will probably go back occasionally for the crust and the price but will have to order triple pepperoni!!! _______________________________________________________________ Edit(12⁄02): I went back again and the gentleman working there gave me exactly what I ordered and would not let me leave until I checked the pizza and knew I was happy. I will be back again and again until I die of a heart attack!

What happened to my 5-star Cibelli’s? I don’t know. Maybe the owner stayed in Florida too long. I remember when Cibelli’s first opened up, and my heart skipped a beat with its glorious crust, perfectly seasoned sauce and milky cheese. I was eating Cibelli’s slices for lunch or dinner about four times a week. But recently, I’ve been disappointed. In fact, I had a day off and decided What The Hell and grabbed a slice from both Cibelli’s and it’s competitor, Pisano’s. I took photos of both, and tried them side by side. Normally I get my slices from the Eastside location. This time it was from the Westside. Cibelli’s won. But not by much. When did they start using a screen on their pies? The diamond-shaped imprint on the bottom of the crust made me weep a little. Char that bad boy! Don’t be scared, pizza man. Just do it! For now, I’m sticking with Mondo and continuing to request it «extra cooked» for my favorite pie in town. I’ve posted a photo of my slice of plain from Cibelli’s. Check out my post on Pisano’s to see their photo, too.

Cue music… The thrill is gone, the thrill is gone away, the thrill is gone… Oh, sorry. This is a review of Cibelli’s. But it seemed to us from our visit this week that the song fits. Sadly. We’ve been Cibelli’s customers for several years, since he had only one location in the little Tumalo complex. My Brooklyn born and raised, Italian heritage hubby nearly jumped for joy to have real, NY style pizza in Bend. I thought it was darn good too. But we both agreed, after our recent visit, that somehow the pizza just seems off, regardless of which of the several locations of Cibelli’s one goes to these days. The same top quality just isn’t there, in particular for the crust which is the end all for a New Yorker, like hubby, eating pizza. So, had we reviewed Cibelli’s when we first started eating the pizza some years back this would have been four stars. But the last couple of times have been two star for the pizza. That said, the counter help at all locations are friendly, the service is fast and while none of the Cibelli’s stores are going to win ambiance awards, some(like the E side store) are reasonably comfortable places if you want to eat in rather than take out. And there is no argument that Cibelli’s offers the biggest slices of any Bend pizza joint. But as with other things in life, it is not always the biggest size the delivers the best experience.

Everything you would expect of a usual NY style pizza joint. Random pictures and kitsch of NYC. Red plaid vinyl table covers. Being in Bend, you’re pretty limited to the options of(good) food. Mostly American fare, with the random Thai restaurant. So if you’re going to do pizza, you’d better do it well. Cibelli’s definitely succeeds with their thin crust, the right amount of cheese, flavorful toppings. But the real clincher here is the«white slice.» 4 kinds of cheese with garlic sauce? Yes, please.
