Sutra Brow & Lash Bar

Asma was my aesthetician today and she absolutely blew my mind!!! It was my first time and I was extremely hesitant to do anything other than just a lash tint (can’t mess that up too much, right?)
When I opened my eyes I was amazed!!! SHE IS A MIRACLE WORKER! As a natural redhead, I’ve spent most of my adult life trying to cover that up haha and she completely surpassed all expectations. Immediately after seeing my eyelashes, I decided to try and even out my misshaped brows. Mind blown again!!! Everything came out so perfect, and has never felt so natural.

Arti does my brow sculpting and is amazing. She’s such a sweetheart! The salon is clean and welcoming with reasonable prices. It’s amazing how something as simple as a brow shaping can open up your face and leave you feeling great!

Arti is great for Brow threading and tinting too. She has an amazing technique and the tint lasts awhile.

I was just here 2 weeks ago and I am pretty sure its still open. Anyway, I needed to leave my feedback. I have been coming to Sutra for years and I don’t trust my brows with anyone else! From tinting, threading and lashes, I’ve used these guys for it all! I’ve lived in Hoboken, NYC, Queens, Long Island and DC. I still make sure that everything I come home (to the are) that I go into Sutra! I’ve worked with Tony for my lashes which were great but I feel in Love with Arti who is a brow genius! The staff is wonderful and polite. I’ve recommeded over 5 friends here and not one person has been disappointed.

I decided to try Sutra because my lashes, which I’ve been getting done by the same girl for over 4 years, have not been coming out like they use to. What a great experience Sutra provides. 1^st I went to the Shrewsbury location where Layla removed my old mess and another girl tinted my natural lashes. Both girls were personable and knowledgable… left very happy and my natural lashes looked great.
The next day I had a scheduled appointment in the Belmar location. Catherine, the receptionist was just wonderful and made me feel like I would be in the right hands with Danielle. Well, she couldn’t have been more on point! My lashes have never looked so natural, felt so soft, and I was completely relaxed throughout the 1 hour Luscious Set process.

Have been going to Gianna for my eyelash extensions and she is fantastic! This was a new service for me and she was very informative, professional and very careful as my eyes are sensitive. Can’t beat the price and quality of service!

I can’t speak to any of their services other than lash tinting, but this is a big DO NOT DO IT! I’ve had my lashes tinted for years in Manhattan and in NJ. Due to my travel schedule I haven’t been able to get to my usual spa (Tarise Day Spa), so I thought I’d give a local business a try.
I made my appointment a week in advance. I was not told at the time that they require you to remove your contact lenses for the service; luckily I had some single use saline with me at appointment time. This should have been a red flag — I’ve never had to remove them for lash tinting before.
I explained that I did not want the «line» above or below the lash line; the technician said that she would do her best. She applied some kind of cocoa butter above and below the lash line, and the typical little shields below the lash line, although not as close to the lash line as I’m used to.
She applied what seemed like a huge amount of the vegetable dye — some of it went into my eyes. It immediately started burning, and I had to wash it off, and out of my eyes.
Awful experience — hopefully they do a better job at their other services. Only good thing I can say is that they didn’t try to charge me.
