Sallys Beauty Supply

I will give this store 6 stars… if only they have all the other brands as well but I know that’s not possible. So I spent almost an hour browsing in this store because I wanted to buy funky hair colors and hair products etc. The sales were all very attentative, knowledgeable and super helpful. They were able to answer all my questions about developers and toners, comparison of different hair dye brands and everything else!!! I am so impressed with their patience and just being cheerful in helping me. Sally’s Beauty sells anything from nail stuff, makeup and hair products etc. I think this store is mainly meant for beauty professionals to get their supplies from. I know a lot of the other professional beauty supply stores that doesn’t allow outside people without a beauty license to purchase in their stores but Sally’s doesn’t have this restriction. Store is Clean and tidy and well organized in different sections and suoer easy to navigate. They have very good deals and specials on all the time, just pay attention to the flyers, and little tags and signs and I’m sure you will score some good buys! For promotions they often have buy 1 get one free or buy 2 get one free, 2L shampoo sale for 18 $, get a free tote If you spend over 49 $ etc. They also have an awesome clearance section if you dig around. I love this place so much I even joined their membership for 5 $. For their membership its basically free because they will give you back a 5 $ coupon to use and have monthly special rate discounts and you pay the lower price for members (usually $ 0.50-$ 1 cheaper than non-​member price). Their prices on average is very reasonable. Tonnes of parking available in the plaza. This will for sure be my number one choice to get hair products from. I can’t wait to go back again!

There is still people who love what they do! I bought a product. and he went out of his way to get a coupon or Fabien me two dollars which is a big deal when the it made the iprice under five dollars! I thought that was very nice of him. lots of employee get so jealous over coupons over the phone and refuse to take them these days. thank you! It made my day to save a Lil. A little goes a long way!

The manager is rude & all the girls do there is gossip. I didn’t get any help, no one knew the answer to the questions I was asking. & they had no idea how to install or remove extensions. I over heard an associate tell one customer that she can use nail polish remover to remove the glue out of her hair. Poor girl must have took the advice because she was all for it. Imagine nail polish remover being soaked in your hair on your head sitting on your scalp. OUCH.
No professional services at all.

Friendly service, helpful staff. Nice selection of a large variety of products. I was greeted with a smile, helped with my questions, and told about the buy 2 get 1 free deal that was being offered at the time. I showed up with my two items at the counter and was encouraged to get my free item. Sweet!

Happy being nappy (African American hair) and living in Vancouver, BC, I live for the days to get down south and shop for some black hair products from Sally Beauty Supply in Bellingham. Its located right across the street from Bellis Fair on Meridian Ave. I get all my advice from my hair dressers in LA so I don’t walk in there looking like a lost puppy. I just purchased a Hot and Silky travel dryer with three attachments for only $ 24.99 now that’s a good deal. My hair will be BONE straight in no time hehe

wow worst service of my life. rude, unprofessional, unknowledgeable people. stay away if you can. if i could give them zero stars, i would.
