Specialties

Pastázza is a casual, family style restaurant serving fresh pasta & artisan pizza. We’re founding members of Sustainable Connections with a strong committment to our local farming community. We purchase local produce seasonally, all the beef served is organic, grass fed & finished, most of the cheese we use comes from N.W. dairys, the milk is from Twin Brook Creamery, our pizza flour from Shepards Grain, a collective of small, no till farmers. Pastázza supports a philosophy of «Toward Zero Waste» through reducing, recycling, the food waste recycle program, & utilizing environmentally responsible packaging materials. Our entire water system is filtered & we are members of «Tap It», the organization dedicated to reducing our planets reliance on bottled drinks.

Our mission is to provide nutritious & flavorful meals for our customers, a secure & positive working environment for our employees, & to promote a strong & vibrant agricultural community.

Know Your Farmer, Know Your Food!

History

Established in 1997.

For 25 years we operated our own small family farm, milking Jerseys, raising sheep, chickens, turkeys, & geese, & growing a variety of produce through sustainable practices. During that time we opened «Innisfree», our first restaurant in the foothills of Mt. Baker. In 1997 we opened & brought our same sustainable vision to «Pastázza» where we recognize that by nurturing the land, & supporting small, local farmers, one cultivates & fosters a healthy community.
