I feel I was totally ripped off… for a return that should have taken 20 minutes they charged me 384.00. My two sisters that had the same documents and basically the same return were charged 150.00 and 200.00. I will never go to an HR Block again… although my sister had hers done at HR Block in Illinois. One couple was leaving while I was waiting and they were charged over 500.00 again so a pretty simple return. My coworker who is self employed here in Bellingham said she did not pay anywhere near that for her return which had a lot more documentation.
