The service was AWFUL! I made an appointment for myself and two friends (we were not sure whether we wanted pedicures or manicures, but the woman on the phone assured me they could do either and we could decide when we got there). Once we got their we decided on shellac manicures and all of the women working acted like it was a huge inconvenience to them that we would like to get our nails done. We had to wait a full hour past our scheduled appointment to even be seated in a chair. And once we finally were, they rushed through doing our nails, mine were not even filed until after she did the shellac treatment. This was the worst nail experience I have ever had, if I could give a zero star rating I would.

Very happy with the pedicure, the price, the place. I hope they get someone to cut hair again soon. Loved getting a pedi while my boys for haircuts.

My kid and I were in Bellingham for the day and we both were in the market for manicures, so we happily stumbled into this nail salon, located at the retail end of Harris Ave, We were both impressed by how cute and clean this place was, and we were warmly greeted by the lady at the front of the salon. I liked how there were 4 lady customers in pedicure massage chairs, laughing and chatting — with champagne flutes in hand!!! There were alcoholic drinks here, to be had with one’s pedicure! I was SOLD!
We received lovely manicures here. The hand massage was a little brief and perfunctory, but we loved how they put a hot towel around our hands (felt amazingly good!), and they polished our nails very nicely. I watched with envy other techs giving pedicures to the ladies in the massage chairs. Wow, I HAVE to return to get this done! Looked like an awesome exfoliation with massage, then a «facial» mask was applied to the legs (knee down) and let dry, then hot and moist towels were wrapped around the legs while the toenails were tended to. All the while, the ladies were sipping either champagne or mimosas out of flutes. Did I mention I was jealous as all get-​out??? (I hadn’t the time for a pedicure today, nor was I dressed appropriately for one). Next time, for sure!
My daughter had her eyebrows waxed here as well. It was not done in a private room setting, and the lady tech who did it took the liberty of taking a LOT of eyebrow hair off without asking (both big negatives); HOWEVER, after the fact, my kid and I got used to the new look and we agreed, it looks a lot better than it did before. (Just wish the tech would have asked first, or prepared us in advance).
This is a fun place and will be a place we return to whenever we re-​visit Bellingham.

I’ve been here three times, the first two experiences were stellar pedicures and I had nothing negative to say. The last time I went I got a pedicure and manicure, I felt like my pedicure was rushed, but it could be that it was the end of the day and they were trying to move along to my manicure. Something I loved about my first two pedicures was how fantastic the foot and leg massages were, where the last time I was in I didn’t feel that way.
The price point is great here, the staff friendly and attentive, and it’s a nice clean salon in a great location. I’ll be going back again, my first two pedicures were so great I’m hoping this last one was a fluke. I recommend this place!

Worst manicure and service I have ever had. My friend and I made an appointment for gel manicures and were left waiting for 40 minutes past our scheduled time. We both had a schedule to stick to and our nail technicians rushed through our appointments and didn’t even have time for gel polish. They didn’t get my previous polish all the way off, my nails were jagged, and the clear polish they put on was left wrinkled and dirty looking. I called the next day to ask for a redo since they did not give the service they should have, and the owner said she couldn’t redo my nails unless I paid for another manicure. She also denied them rushing through our appointment and basically told me I was wrong. Do not go here.

First I will say Tiffany did a really nice job on my nails. My only issue was I did not feel like it was a spa experience. I felt rushed, you know kinda like get it done and out off here. The fine finishes I am use to were not done. Glue and acrylic chunks still under nails.
For an inexpensive set of nails well worth it as long as you know what your waking into.
The girls were all very friendly and now that I know what to expect, I will return. If I want a spa day I will just go else where. Quick nail service, this is your place.

Honestly, I do not think you could find a nicer nail salon in Bellingham. The pedi’s at Thirteen are the best — they do a great job on making sure you feel pampered with long massages and scrubs. The service is great, the staff is friendly and you can get a glass of champagne while you wait… what more could you want. But, what I really appreciate more than anything, is how immaculate the salon is. It does not have a «nail salon» smell.

This place is awesome and super affordable. Best foot massage ever! Will totally come back every time I need a pedicure.

I love that they had a bar here. My mom was in town visiting and I wanted to bring her somewhere to get pedicures while shopping in Fairhaven. I had a great leg/​foot massage from the gal that did my pedicure. I wish she had spent more time on my toe nails, but my feet felt so soft and my leg muscles relaxed. I was a little upset that I had made us appointments and I was started 20 minutes late so my mom was done way before I was.

I really wanted to like this business because I’m new in the area and in the market for *my* nail salon around Skagit Valley. I very much like the Fairhaven location. The prices are fair. The person who does my fills does nice work. The reason I won’t be back even though I’m happy with the location and work is because I don’t feel welcomed or appreciated as a customer. When my nails are being done I feel more like a number than a person and it’s not been an enjoyable experience. Today I went in and asked if they had time for a walk-​in fill. The person who does my fills couldn’t even take the time to look at me when she gave me a monotone and disinterested no. I’m a business person too and rudeness and treating a customer like they’re not appreciated are unacceptable and deal breakers.

I had a really great experience at 13 Nails, one of the best pedicures that I have had. The staff was very friendly and did a great job.

The only 5 star rating on this website for this business is from the owner herself. Do not get fooled into going here.

The place is in a great location, it’s clean, and it has refreshments which is a definite bonus. The work they did for mine and my friends’ manicures was good although a couple of the people working weren’t particularly social like you might expect. The prices and work were good so I can’t complain too much about whether or not the people were friendly.

Friendly staff, awesome pedicure chairs and clean space. Two thumbs way up!

Positives: Nice-​enough looking shop; refreshments and snacks available; good prices; my young daughter received a nice haircut on a whim while I was having my services. Nice massage chairs.
Negatives: numerous people were working on my nails (all I got was a pedicure) so none was sure what the other had done and I ended up having to ask for top coat; very disjointed experience because of this. It felt like they were trying to do too much with too few staff. I was there for a very long time so don’t try to pop in on your lunch break or if you have somewhere to be. I like the idea of a mint lemonade, but maybe whole mint leaves instead of chopped; I didn’t like sucking them up through my straw. Odd and tacky colored light-​show in the pedicure tubs.
I would maybe go again just because of the price, but it wasn’t an especially friendly/​relaxing atmosphere. Everything felt rushed even though it ended up taking quite awhile.

WORST. SERVICE. EVER! My friend and I went in yesterday as walk-​ins and of course I asked if they could fit us in and the MANAGER said yes. First off you can’t make small talk with these guys and NO it’s not because they don’t speak the language, they are both native to the US, it’s that they would rather ignore you or respond with one word answers. I had requested a manicure pedicure and my friend a manicure. The gentleman there who was doing my pedicure butchered my nails cutting them unevenly and would jam the clippers into the sides of my toes. And for both my friend and I getting the manicures they turned out poorly. When she (the manager) was clipping my cuticles she would yank the clippers away without fully cutting my cuticles so they are now all jagged and split and the nail polish didn’t even cover the whole nail on most of my fingers. I will have to go to Jimmy’s to have them re-​done. I’ll never go to this place again.
