I love Advanced Concrete Specialists! They always do such an amazing job, and are such a pleasure to work with. I’m a property manager, and they always do our concrete work amazingly and with quality work. They will always be our go-​to guys!

Advanced Concrete Specialists rock! Pamela and Case were a pleasure to work with. They cut two driveway aprons at one of the houses we own, got our city inspection, and poured the concrete in the same day. I highly recommend using them, I will definitely be calling them again in the future for any concrete work.

Reacting to very good reviews here for this business, I contacted them for a price quote for my driveway slab. They gave me a phone quote which I liked and the estimator promised to look at the site the next day and get back to me. He didn’t.
I waited and called and waited and called. I finally went into their office and was told that they wanted the job and the estimator, who wasn’t there, would get back to me that afternoon. He didn’t.
Meanwhile, my completely dug and prepared driveway had sat for a week and, nearing a vacation trip, I was getting stretched for time. (I had made the fatal mistake of not getting other bids since this company was rated so highly.)
So I emailed them explaining my disappointment with their lack of customer courtesy. I was firm but not over the top.
Amazingly, I got an email back with a final quote attached, but also an odd explanation of how they had not been at fault for bad customer courtesy or lying to me since I had «unusually high expectations».
I can’t really figure that one out.

I had not met anyone from Advanced before they were recommended by my general contractor, so there is no bias in this review. They simply did a great job for me. Their crew obviously enjoy working together, and it shows in their performance. They even were tactful and professional when confronted by my obnoxious neighbor.
I recommend Advanced Concrete Specialists without reservation.

They really know how to do business. They provided a detailed, thorough and accurate estimate for a 250 sq ft. side yard walkway, with 65 sq ft of it raised (51/​2″) for a platform/​foundation for a shed (all one pour). The estimate included excavation, old concrete removal, rebar installation, and foundation bolt installation. Their estimate was $ 808.00 less than another local business’s estimate which lacked the above details and quoted an innacurate square footage of 330 sq ft.
I had a diagram of what I needed and Gary completely understood all the details. The crew was extremely professional on both days they worked. The walkway and shed platform with foundation bolts is a work of art. The finish is perfect, the expansion joints are perfectly spaced, the foundation bolts are perfectly placed, and the drainage is also perfect. The crew left the area very clean.
I would bother calling anyone else in the Long Beach Yellow pages (I used another business in the past and wasn’t half as impressed as I am with Advanced Concrete).
