My family has worked with Rodrigo and his brother for years and we love them. It’s difficult to find honest mechanics but they are honest if they can fix they can fix it, if they can’t they can’t, let you know prices before they start work, and they treat each client like family. They try to do everything in there power to provide excellent service. Will follow them anywhere! Very pleased

I was looking for an auto repair shop in Bixby Knolls and called Jim’s. They wouldn’t work on my American car and referred me to Rodrigo at Top Speed. He’s done a couple of oil changes for me ($ 40 even, but my car takes 6 qts, 1 more than standard at quick service places; he actually takes time to check out fluids, etc.) and did some evap work when I couldn’t get my check engine light to go off. Today he recommended that NEXT TIME I have some maintenance done, gave me a price, and told me the estimated time.
I can’t say enough how impressed I am by the quality of the service, which is a bit, ahem, leisurely. But I think they’re super honest (seriously, I asked four times if anything else needed to be done and he could have easily sold me some un-​needed flush of some kind) with really reasonable rates.
I recommend calling ahead for service and, if possible, have someone else drive so you don’t have to hang out there all day. If you do, there’s a small waiting room with a TV, some magazines, and bottled water. There are a few restaurants on the main drag.

These guys are just AWESOME! Rodrigo and his brother are 2 honest, high character guys. They know their automobiles, and are passionate about it. They really do strive for customer service, even if means that they take a hit on their bottom line. Took my car in for the dreaded GM intake (lower and upper) manifold leak. Coolant was leaking pretty badly, as well as some oil, and they assured me this would be an easy task. While they were at it, I went ahead and asked them to swap out the water pump and the valve cover gaskets.
My total bill was half of the dealership, and less than a local shop. Their rates are reasonable, and they do not BS you, just kill you with genuine kindness. To top things off, they went ahead and added some custom paint on the valve covers and upper manifold, swapped out the thermostat and coolant temperature sensor, and best of all, serviced the upper manifold and throttle body. This easily was another couple hundred bucks worth of work. But they did it, because everything was off, and why not… Truly awesome dudes!
