Absolutely delicious! You will not be disappointed. Cute corner location across from the Bellevue Library. Nice clean orderly atmosphere, tables of 2 and 4. Great selection of rolls. We first ordered the Special Dragon, Special Seattle, Rainbow with some edemame and saki and saporo. Repeated the dragon roll added, dynamite roll, sunny and tempura rolls. The owners are gracious. Our chef made us a special delicious sushi fruit roll. Amazing quality and service and prices. Good for everyone, we even had our 4 month old nephew with us. Enjoy!

My mother and I dined here while travelling from San Francisco. I had the House Special roll, my mother had the Volcano roll, and we split unagi and sake. Our order was great all around. They’ve excellent sushi and courteous staff. A fine example of a little sushi establishment.

Tried this place for the first time tonight and felt compelled to write a review. Summary: food’s great and the staff is super friendly. Rolls and Rolls totally nails what I wanted it to be; high quality, reasonably priced sushi I can grab to-go. Ironically, I’d only ordered from here because another(probably the most popular Japanese/sushi place in Bellevue) wasn’t available for take-out. Very glad that happened. I ordered the BSC, Tempura, New York, and Spicy Tuna rolls via phone. When I went to pick up, everything was ready to go and I was greeted and thanked by both the chef and hostess. I’m not often struck by friendly service — but it felt both welcoming and sincere. At that point, I really wanted to like the food. Luckily, the food was great. Another reviewer put it well; this place is very authentic and Japanese, although certainly not traditional sushi. I typically visit two types of sushi places: very expensive ones where I’ll sit at the bar and order omakase, and reasonably priced ones I’ll grab to-go. This is the latter. And, I have to say, it crushes that role(no pun intended). Easily my go-to spot for quick or take-out rolls. Highly recommend if that’s what you’re looking for.

Fantastic sushi! The quality of food and preparation is outstanding. My favorite rolls are the Sunny and Dynamite. I have tried the green apple boba(bubble tea) and enjoyed it as well. The restaurant is always very clean. I also find the staff very friendly and always thank me for stopping in. Definitely check them out.

Relatively cheap for a very high quality sushi. This place is a hidden gem in the corner right across the library. It’s small, cozy, and cute. My first time here was with my friends and they loved it. I love it here and would definitely come back! Must go place if you’re in the area.

Cute Korean waiter and top quality sushi for affordable prices. What more could I ask for? My personal favorite when I’m eating out with a friend is the deluxe combo. It’s $ 40 for two people, but it includes many special rolls, a wide selection of nigiri, and complimentary miso! It’s a small restaurant completely run by a local family, so I know my money is going back into the local economy :)

This is a very friendly, cozy, and clean place. I ordered the lunch Maki combo, 6 rolls of cucumber, 6 tuna, and 6 salmon for under $ 10. I was immediately brought hot tea and miso soup. The rolls were a little small and altogether the portion size was okay. The rolls were good but small. There is only one sushi chef so the food did come out a little slower than other places with just two other customers but nothing to really complain about. The sushi chef also asked if everything was good and brought out a dessert roll for free. It was nice and refreshing.

By far the best Sushi place in Seattle area imho. Tried a lot of rolls — house special, dancing queen w/smoked salmon, red dragon, spicy ones — best part is they’re very fresh and the chef works on them so meticulously. You’ll get a complimentary desert in the end as well :) If you’re like me and like rolls mostly this is the place.

A hidden gem kind of place if you’re a sushi enthusiast. Tried their 747 roll which was perfection along with some nigiri. Fish was quite fresh, and they have a wide selection of specialty rolls. The quality here is set pretty high and I left satisfied with my meal!

There are very very few authentic ethnic restaurants in Seattle. No I don’t mean authentic like this is what true Japanese sushi is or should taste like.(Does the special Dragon Roll sound particularly Japanese?) I mean authentic as in the sense that this is a man’s dedicated work to his craft. Was that dramatic? Maybe. But can you give me a list of names in 10 seconds and less of around the corner neighborhood sushi chefs that immigrated and served sushi for 11 years in this city? Yes, the wait is on the tip of horrendous because there is only one chef, but to me, the wait is worth it. No this isn’t Kashiba’s or Jiro’s, and it isn’t trying to be. It’s about 600 sq ft of a restaurant. It’s meant to be small. And even if it took us longer than 20 mins for food, on the compliments of the chef, we got some edamame.(So basically guys, just order some small appetizers) We ordered the avocado roll, special bulgogi roll, and the dragon roll. The rice was plump and soft, it’s fresh. The execution is beautiful. The ingredients tasted fresh. If something was frozen months ago, I definitely could not tell. I haven’t tried the nigiri or the sashimi, but I will come back for them. But I wholesomely enjoyed these, so I doubt I’ll feel disappointed in the future. The bulgogi tasted better than most bulgogi in korean restaurants. The eel was soft and the sauce had the right kick. The avocado was also a good texture. Half the time I’m expecting to bite into a frozen portion, but none was. Following the dish we got a «dessert» sushi roll, apple on top of a sushi with assorted dried fruits as a filling. Basically, for affordable, tasty Seattle sushi, I’d come here for lunch and dinner and more. Most expensive roll is like $ 12 and there’s like 10 of the rolls. It’s not a crappy lunch, it’s not some 5 star posh restaurant. It’s just the heart and soul of a sushi chef. And I’d come back to support that any day.

I normally don’t eat sushi, but I really liked the sushi here. Would recommend, 5⁄5 white stars on red background. I really like how they have both normal raw fish sushi and other more unique varieties of sushi, like the bulgogi sushi. Yum!

Quiet place with kind, welcoming staff. We were greeted with a pot of mild green tea upon arrival. If you park in their visitor spots, go in and ask for a permit to go out in your car. I got the premium Philadelphia(I think?) roll, miso soup, and a 747 roll. The 747 features lemon zest and seared salmon belly and was by far my favorite. The other one was good as well. The chef brought us a little dessert piece of sushi with dried fruits in it on the house. We were the only ones in the restaurant by about halfway through our visit and they didn’t try to hustle us out, even bringing a fresh pot of tea when we were paying the bill. Overall really nice laid-back experience. And it’s across the street from the library!

sooooooooooooo good. We had the deluxe combo for 2. Sooooooooooooooo delicious. They also provided us a sushi desert with Apple on top, cucumber at bottom and dried berries inside. very special. And I also think the wasabi they used is made by fresh wasabi plant. Highly recommend.

Came here today with a coworker. It wasn’t very busy but the chef and server were very welcoming. They have a huge selection of rolls and I’m vegetarian so I was so glad to see a vegetarian section of menu. I ordered the Green Dragon — mix of vegetables with avocado and seaweed salad on top. I also ordered the tamago nigiri which was delicious. They serve delicious food — not incredible, but good quality and you can tell the chef put considerable time and consideration into prepping the meal. He treated us to dessert rolls at the end. My coworker and I agreed that we’ll be coming back!

Decent sushi place. Space is tight but it wasn’t busy when we went. Very attentive staff. The raw fish was good and nothing to complain about. The chef actually came out to offer dessert sushi to us, which was very thoughtful :)

Small sushi shop right across from the DT Bellevue library. It almost looks like a fast food joint, and is quite informal. Service was fairly slow as there was only one chef and server so it took a while to get our food. Prices are decent and they have a varied menu of rolls at different price points. They have the usual popular rolls, but they also have lots of custom rolls that are quite interesting. All the rolls tasted good. $ 4 super simple rolls(spicy salmon, tuna, egg) $ 6-$ 7 standard rolls(california, bulgoki, philadelphia, salmon skin, teriyaki chicken) $ 10-$ 12 special rolls(spider, oishi, tempura, red dragon) * Bulgoki roll — delicious beef bulgoki in a roll * Smoked salmon roll — tastes like it sounds * Oishi Roll — This row is special in that it is baked. So comes out piping hot,. The mix of the eel, shrimp, baked scallop, and shrimp and sauce all kind of melt together and makes a delicious gooey mess in your mouth. Definitely not your best sushi, but lots of interesting creative rolls, would come back again to try different rolls.
