If you like putrid fish and mediocre service this is the place for you! It is the worst sushi place I’ve been to in a decade, and that’s saying something. You would think there was a big selection from the looks of the menu and belt, but most items are either not available or not being made by the chef to fill those spots. Super pricey, nasty food, and no value. I bet you can’t wait!

The happy hour deal is awesome. $ 3 plates $ 3 drinks(select on each). The selection is decent and if you don’t see what you want just ask. The double shrimp roll was the best, everything else was ok. The ambience was pretty cool, which is why they got a four instead of a three.

Loved the sushi here! Excellent conveyer belt sushi restaurant. Service is outstanding! Nice place to go downtown if you love sushi and don’t like to wait!

Fortunately the fish is fresh. But man… the taste… The tempera in the rolls is not at all crispy and the rolls are too loose which fall apart when you pick up. They look like sushi, but they are not sushi to me.

Given that my first experience at this location was far from great — I was pleased to know that this location won me over. I happened to revisit this location and was pleased to know my server was more than attentive and able to assist me in different options on the menu. I highly suggest asking the Sushi Chef behind the counter for specific food items that you like — as they will hand-craft them upon request. I will be back if I am ever in Bellevue!

The best sushi place on the block! Fun and reasonably priced! I go there with my husband often and I love the Spanish sushi chefs! Gracias Amigos! SAYNOTOTRUMP!

Food was great, service was great, we felt very welcomed. Best conveyer sushi restaurant I have ever been to. The items are clearly labeled, so you know what you are eating(genius right). They have these amazing tacos, you have to order off the menu but they are a must.

Blech — overpriced low quality sushi. Unless you’re really not willing to walk a couple of blocks to all the other sushi places(including conveyor belt sushi places) nearby, I’d really steer clear of this place.

Great atmosphere and great food ! All the staffs were great. Especially our server Jay made my family dining experience great. He was very friendly and cooperative. I would recommend ordering a sushi combo, totally worth the price ! I would definitely come back.

Average Blue C Sushi just like all the other ones. Despite of being located in downtown Bellevue, I would expect somewhat better quality of sushi or service, but it still an average Blue-C. Though, this place is not bad for a Sushi-Belt place. It’s just that the prices of all the plates here are the highest comparing to all other sushi-belt franchises that I know of. I know that they claim better quality of sushi and all, but if only I live closer to Seattle, I would rather go to Wasabi Bistro or Japonessa. That being said, comparing to other Sushi Belt Places in the area, I can hardly say that I would choose Sushi Maru over Blue C… Ahh. that was such a tough thing to say haha. I don’t wanna go to both of these places often. If I want sushi belt in Bellevue, I prefer Sushi Land. Although Sushi Land’s quality isn’t as good, but you can always get full with 15 dollars on whatever you wanna eat there. And of course, if I’m craving for legit raw fish around this area, I would rather go to Musashi in Factoria for their Chirashi Bowl. Thick cuts of Various types of Fresh Fishes over Perfectly flavored Japanese Rice. And Free Hot Tea. Ooops Sorry I go off topics. That being said, Blue C Sushi isn’t a bad place. I just wish that they would reduce their price a bit maybe 50 cents each and I might… go back again. I went here last Wednesday with my family and the service wasn’t even good. Slow refill on drinks, Our server never checked on our meal, and he even started counting the plates while we were eating? Who does that. I think it was inappropriate. Please let the customers finish eating their meals first before starting counting the plates because it felt like you guys were trying to kick out customers who spent $ 100+ under 1 hour of dinner. Thank you. Who knows when I will go back again to give it another chance. Even I can’t tell.

The sushi selection and quality was OK. Dishes on the conveyor belt range from $ 2-$ 5.50.

I am a big fan of this restaurant for fast and quick sushi when I want a variety of smaller portions. This location is my favorite of all of them. The selection was very good, they restocked the belt fast and the food tasted very fresh. Most of my favorites were available.

I don’t understand all the hate for Blue C. Look people, it’s conveyor belt sushi. Yes, I know that seems obvious to most, but after reading the reviews, it seems like most people were expecting Nobu quality at Blue C prices. If you’re worried about stuff sitting on the belt too long, push the button and ask them to make it fresh for you, they always will. They just made a recent change to their happy hour, it’s now from 3 – 6, seven days a week. Everything on the belt(or made for you) will cost just $ 3. Cocktails are also just $ 3, so the excellent value is extending into the bar as well. Is Blue C the apex of sushi in America? No(obviously). Let’s keep that(and your expectations) in mind and have a good time.

Just fine for grabbing a bite while shopping at Bell Square. Avoid the Spam Roll. It was gross. The V 8 Roll was also not so delish. The pureed edamame with chips was yummy. Not fantastic sushi, but just fine.

We were staying at the Westin across the street and after walking around the mall we came across this place and decided to drop in for dinner. The staff was super friendly and we were seated right away. The plates were color coded and ranged from $ 2.50 to $ 5.50. It was a little pricey for what you got. Most plates had 4 pieces no matter the price. Most of the ones we wanted to eat were $ 5.00 and up. I would say the place was filled but not packed and everyone seemed to be having a good time and enjoying their food. The rolls looked like they were made quickly and a few of them fell apart while we were picking them up. The favors weren’t really that great we were disappointed since sushi is our favorite and we were really looking forward to having fresh fish. The seating, tables and décor were nice but walking to the restroom was a little scary! Once you walked to the back you had to go down a hallway then through doors into a stairwell and up a couple flights of stairs to the restroom. It was secluded and scary.

Ok here’s the deal — I get why the rating is so low. Compared to a lot of revolving sushi places out there, Blue C Sushi isn’t top-notch, especially considering how expensive some of the plates can be. The sushi itself really isn’t that bad — actually, it’s pretty decent. One of my favorite rolls was the BLT roll, a non-traditional California roll type of sushi topped with bacon and other yummy things. Having seen the reviews for this place ahead of time, I was very, very careful making sure that I didn’t only pick $ 5.50 plates. Let me tell you — you need to be aware. Most dishes are within the $ 4~$ 5 range. The dish that are on the $ 2~$ 3 range are, oftentimes, non-sushi dishes including noodles, gyoza, tempura potatoes, etc. But I know — the best part of revolving sushi is getting to eat what you want. And technically you can do that at Blue C Sushi. But you might be paying a lot more than you expect if you don’t keep tabs on what plates you get…

Taste = 4 stars, Pricing = 2 – 3 stars In terms of flavor, the food is good and tastes fresh, but the prices are too high! I’ve been here a few times, but I haven’t really found anything that makes Blue C more special than other sushi places. They do have a few specialty rolls, but the fact that they’re priced at $ 5 — $ 5.50 for four pieces has prevented me from even trying them. The least expensive plates are $ 2.00, which are mainly veggie rolls and edamame. California Roll is $ 2.50 for four pieces and the prices increase from there until hitting the max of $ 5.50. This time, my table ordered the calamari and tempura veggies(made to order). I would have liked to see a lighter coating of batter on both items as well as more of a panko breading on the calamari. They tasted fine, but I probably wouldn’t order them again. However, I do enjoy the chicken katsu here! The service is good. The friendly staff constantly walks around and checks with you multiple times. They’re also pretty quick at cleaning the tables and seating guests during the lunch rush.

Be careful with this place! Ambiance — let’s say modern, japanese-esque Service — OK Food — nothing special at all. I mean NOTHING. Price — Over priced for what it is…5.50 for plate of 4 pcs specialty sushi… and it ain’t that special.

I had high hopes for this place, but they were quickly dashed when we sat down at the conveyor belt and saw the outrageous prices. I get it, this is Bellevue, but if you’re going to charge me $ 5.50 for three tiny pieces of seared tuna at least make them flavorful. Same goes for most of the nigiri on the belt — small portions and about the same quality as grocery store sushi. Most of the plates weren’t even sushi though — various noodles, desserts, and salads cluttered the belt too. The only thing I liked was the service, which was super friendly. Still, I don’t see myself going back to this place EVER.
