They are having Xmas card sale for boxed sets now– can’t be combined with other discounts but they give you the option to go with the lower price. Would like to see more options and price ranges on cards and stickers.

I couldn’t be more impressed with the impeccable customer service I recently received from the team at Papyrus at Bellevue Square. From answering the phone on the very first ring to the attention to detail and quality of product I am in awe of the individual attention given to me during the busiest time of year, Christmas season.
I’d recently been working on a special project and needed someone to come alongside me to help with the design process. I initially found that person in Jonathan who then set me up with Anthony. Anthony was a dream and diligently worked with me to carry out the final product. He understood the vision, added his own creative genius, and was able to complete the entire process in house.
I am a forever fan and customer for life! You guys ROCK!

Big thank you to Jonathan who saved the day! I was running very late to a wedding on Bainbridge Island and needed a miracle to wrap the oddly shaped present. Jonathan went through a lot of trouble to locate a box and then wrapped it up so perfectly that it was fit for the Royal Family. Merci beaucoup Jonathan for your outstanding customer service!

Love love coming here to grab ideas for my newbie card making skills– yes I said it. I plagiarize expensive ideas on a paupers budget. However, the beauty in this store seems to always suck me in and I never leave without something. They have a great selection of cards and a helpful staff to help you personalize it if that’s your fancy. If you are looking for a generic run of the mill hallmark card– well do that– go to Hallmark (which is now closed at the mall). If you are looking for a unique card, something special and beautifully made– this is your place.
You can also find some gifts and nick naks (who doesn’t like random crap like that flashlight you never knew you needed til you found one here?)
I came yesterday to find a thank you card– they were having a promotion of buy 3 get 1 free. It was clear as sunshine — however the gal in front of me obviously didn’t understand and said their wording was misleading? The hell? OKAY. My 7 yr old understood that perfectly. The cashier was nice enough to do her a favor of what she thought was buy 2 get 1 free– I giggled to myself and checked out and told the guy that was too nice of him and he just smiled. They have wonderful customer service here and I’ll be coming back for more ideas :)

Terribly slow customer service due to understaffing. I requested gift wrap service and the representative had to stop numerous times to check out customers. Was told it would take 10 mins and it took well over 35 mins.

Papyrus is my go-​to card shop. 3 years ago i picked out my wedding invitations at this Papyrus, i bought all of my thank you cards at this store, and when I finally ran out of those note cards I bought 3 years ago I bought some new owlie blank cards here this past week. They have lots of owlie stuff! Besides stationery goods, they have a nice assortment of random other stuff. I picked up some cute candles for a friend’s birthday cake in addition to my adorable owlie note cards. Yah, it’s a little pricey, but it seems like all decent stationery is a little pricey, so not comparatively, its just hurts a little to pay $ 4 for a single card. I did get a set of 12 note cards for $ 13, and it came with lined envelopes and gold papyrus logo envelope seals. I thought that was very reasonable; you can find more reasonably priced options.

They have large sheets of very elegant paper. You can find the coolest cards for every occasion here too. You can order custom cards or wedding invitations. I like looking at the cards for my own inspiration or envy of other people’s skill.

This is a wonderful store for beautiful cards, for special occasions or special recipients. The prices are a little high, but they usually have a buy-​2-​get-​1-​free promo. They also have SUPER sales after each holiday. I always buy my boxed Christmas cards here for the following year, the week after XMas ends. Their boxed cards are lovely, and their flat sheet wrapping papers are gorgeous. I could totally see wallpapering a wall with them. My only gripe is that they don’t have much selection when it comes to congratulation cards, or irreverent cards. And now that the Bell Square Hallmark store is gone, this is the only card shop in the mall.

HuH?! Where should I start? Disappointing?.. How about B O O O R I N G? (Not to mention EXPENSIVE.) Cost wouldn’t be a factor if the inventory was at least Wonderful. Alas. It was far inferior than some reviews here suggested. The staff attempted to be helpful, but they really didn’t have a whole lot to chose from.
Yes, the paper cut cards were Lovely, and SO impressive with everything in its own cellophane sheath.
I abandoned ship and headed to Fred Meyer, where at least I had some choices and a few cards were genuinely funny. Imagine that!

There is no better place to find THE perfect card than Papyrus. Great wrapping paper and bags as well. I cannot walk out of this place without buying at least 3 cards. There’s something for every mood and occassion,

Papyrus is my go-​to shopping spot for special cards and also stationary. They have an excellent selection and the cards are usually special, beautiful, colorful and unique. There are also funny cards, but not raunchy cards as you may find at a Target or similar store. I stepped in Moxie which is also at Bellevue Square and their selection is no where near as great and don’t have that *WOW* factor that the Papyrus selection does (at least not for me… at Moxie, the cards seem much more monochromatic and not as whimsical or ‘fun.’); I’m all about the sparkle!
The staff is always helpful and even reminded me about oddly shaped cards costing more in postage than a regular rectangular shaped card (square cards require a special stamp or additional postage). Even if there is a line, the staff have seemed friendly and helpful whenever I shop here.
The only drawback to Papyrus is that the cards do cost a little bit more than others (I purchased 2 on my most recent visit and with tax they were over $ 10 for the pair). Usually, though, they do have a promotion going on (buy 3 get 1 free or similar) so that may average out to a better price.

Since my days of working at Guess Jeans in high school nearly 15 years ago, I’ve been coming to Papyrus, now in a variety of cities for all my cards needed for: Birthdays, Christmas, Weddings, Bar/​Bat Mitzvahs.
Excellent, unique selections of cards and gift wrapping.
Bonus: they do gift wrapping and always have the right gift bag for the occasion.
Yes, they are expensive, but the quality and selection is excellent. All the staff I’ve encountered has been great.

Papyrus is my go-​to card store — no more Hallmark for this girl. You can’t help but be drawn to Papyrus as you walk by, the warm wood, cute quirky gifts lining the windows and the general atmosphere is welcoming and interesting.
Cards line the shelves on perpendicular walls, and the center is reserved for custom cards/​invitations and random gifts. I rarely walk away from Papyrus without some awesome random item that I didn’t need, but really really wanted!
The cards are beautiful, unique and often hand crafted. Truly there is no where better to get a nice mother’s day card or a sentimental birthday card!
They are a little pricier than Hallmark, but what you lose in price you gain in quality! The employees are always welcoming and helpful! I love that there are people as passionate about greeting cards as I am!
PLUS their printing service is amazing. I have had invitations printed by a Papyrus and it was easy and the customer service was amazing!

Immediate and Warm Welcoming Greeting Waits for Anyone Walking into the Bellevue Square Papyrus Store
Each time I walk into the Papyrus store, I am immediately greeted. It can be a «Hi» or a «How are you today?». It does not matter if I am timidly looking at items by the window, or near the cabinets or even looking at the creative and bright cards that color the store, I always feel welcome at Papyrus. The store always has items in season, a clearance table of last season’s items and just the perfect card for whatever occasion I need it for.
The best part however, is how welcome I always feel. It is what always keeps me coming back into the store. And it is why I am willing to pay more for my greeting cards — yes the bright cards are beautiful — but the folks in the store are the ones who do the real work. Good job guys!
