Kasala

I can’t address the quality of the furniture, but when I came home to my condo this afternoon their truck was parked in the middle of the driveway, blocking entry and exit to everyone who lived here. When the driver finally showed up he said my next door neighbor «told me to park here». Not in the MIDDLE of the driveway he didn’t, on the edge next to the driveway. We yelled at each other for a while and he left. The driver was as dumb as a stump and must have learned his customer skills in prison.

I love the store, but the customer service (outside of Sebastian) is not friendly or helpful. When I picked up my items, there were 2 other men at the desk and they totally ignored me and my boyfriend. They acted like I was interrupting their computer time. We stood there until I finally asked for help. We both thought they were very rude.
Again, I love the store, but what an awful way to treat customers.

Richard in Sales, and Bill in customer service are both amazing. The furniture is very affordable, and looks amazing in our house. I would highly recommend these folks to anyone looking for modern furniture on a budget. Much higher quality than Ikea, with customer service that beats anyone. Thanks Kasala for filling our house with style!

Stopped by to purchase a lamp I saw from the window, the salesperson happily took my order. In, out, about a 5 minute transaction. Salesperson casually mentioned that the «truck would be by to deliver the lamp on Monday, around noon, we don’t do home delivery.» No big deal.
I arrive on Monday, was told that they phoned to inform me it was on backorder. Yes, they phoned, no message was left. Again, not to worry, the lamp would be there in three weeks.
3 weeks later, I call to see where the lamp is. Now, I’m told it would be another 3 months. Seriously? Cancelled order, never shopping there again. Complete waste of time.

Erin at Kasala is the best! She has consistently helped me furnish my house in style without breaking the bank.

I bought my first home and wanted to go for the modern minimal look. I got the perfect leather sofa for my living room. I also bought a few more pieces too. Gotta say my place looks pretty pimp now. The customer service is excellent. I usually don’t get much service because I look young and out of place, haha but Mike T and Mariah definitely took care of me.

I like Dania. I like Scan Design. I LOVE Kasala. In fact, if I was able to buy everything in their store I would be happy. If you’re into the more modern yet comfortable (DWR and comfort do not go hand in hand) furniture, you gotta check out Kasala. Plus they have fab sales on their fab furniture.
You can even «rent» a piece of their furniture and take it home with you before committing to it. Talk about smart. We went through 4 other dining chairs from other stores before smartening up and checking out Kasala where we rented a dining chair right off the show room floor, no assembly nothing. It resulted in 8 purchased chairs the next day which we couldn’t be happier with.
My favorite furniture store around here, hands down.

They have the coolest furniture at great prices. I have several pieces from this store. They have more reasonable prices from 10 years ago when they sold $ 6000 sofas. We found the perfect leather sofa for our family room here during a sale.
The customer service was great, they even reduced the sales tax on the delivery when they figured out we don’t live in Seattle. Prices and quality is better than West Elm.
With that said on previous visits I have encountered snooty sales people on occasion. That’s why no 5 stars.

I LOVE THE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! You need to see MIKE T at the bellevue store. He is AWESOME! so helpful and patient. He showed me so many sofas and oppions that was not in the store but was in other stores. He did not make me feel pressured to buy. He made me feel like a friend helping a friend. And the sale was awesome. I got a sofa half off and matching chairs half off as well. IM SO PLEASED for a first timer. will see them on the next sale!

We decided to visit Kasala after seeing their advertisement on the newspaper repeatedly. Sure enough, their furniture looks very modern and expensive. However, the price tag is not as bad as we thought.
We have been looking for a leather sofa but it was really expensive everywhere. Fortunately, Kasala have a leather sofa we like and it was of reasonable price!
My husband and I spent a long time in store trying to decide on the items we want. Though it was their crowded sales period, the sales person was very patient with us. We wanted to see how an armchair and the sofa would look together, so they shifted the furniture around to show us. In the end, we bought the 2 items :)
Instead of scheduling for delivery, we decided to collect the items from their Seattle warehouse ourselves. This is our first purchase here and we are satisfied with their service & our new furniture. now let’s hope that the quality is good…

I have a couch, sectional, two lamps, tv stand, bar stools, chairs, rug, some small random things from this store.
It magnets me in, I am a true Kasalian !!

I got my couch from here recently and I love it!
When my mom first took me here and I walked in and saw the prices, my first reaction was «mom, why did you take me here? I can’t afford any of this!!» All the actual furniture was well in the thousands and the knick knacks were pricy for what they were.
My mom said she saw that there was a couch on sale and low and behold, there was my 3-​seater leather couch marked down from $ 1100 to $ 500! Now, $ 500 is not Ikea or Wal-​Mart cheap but for a good quality, expensive looking and feeling couch, it’s a great deal! My couch is pieced leather and a deep espresso color.
All the pieces in this place are fairly small so they’re great for apartments and the backs are not very high but it’s still really comfortable! This place is great if you like modern furniture. With sale prices (they have an outlet in SODO too!), it’s a nice in-​between from Ikea and say, Ethan Allen or Thomasville and I find that in-​between market for furniture, the most spare.
The service here was decent. It took the guy a while to get to us but then everything was pretty quick. They put the couch on my family’s account but then they called my parents with the delivery time the day before. I was sitting around thinking they didn’t call! I called back several times and no one picked up and finally, I had to call the SODO outlet and have them look me up. I said «I told them to call my cell,» and luckily the next day when they delivered the couch, they did call my cell. The delivery guys were efficient and polite and I am loving my couch.
I would totally come back– for now, I’m sticking with the sale pieces, but someday, hopefully I’ll graduate and I’d still keep Kasala in mind!

Ordered a formal dining table and chairs to take advantage of their awesome 25^th anniversary sale. The table design is unique and will complement our furniture already in our home. The staff was friendly and professional. If you like the modern look you should check them out.

Kasala is the furniture store for young professionals or people who like modern style.
I moved into a new studio that was just too nice to fill with craigslist items. I wanted style, price, size, and quality. My parents came to visit so we wandered all over Bellevue at every furniture store we saw. I pretty much thought I’d have to go with Crate & Barrel, but the prices still seemed a bit steep for me. Then my mom spotted Kasala and, though we were tired, convinced us to go in.
Enter Kasala. No paisley to be found! YES! At first, the light fixtures dazzled me. Then the prices shocked me. I was just about ready to walk out when I looked at another price tag… Whoa! This place has affordable furniture too! Yes, One desk I love is a grand and I can’t afford it. But the glass console table about the same size with the pretty brown shade glass was only around $ 169. The prices range so just ask one of the shop keepers for help.
Kasala is such a great store because all the pieces look and feel great, but if you shop right you can find something amazing in your price range (so long as your price range starts at Crate & Barrel or nice Target). Then there are the sales. AND the Outlet Store! I got a super comfortable accent chair that goes with the furniture collection I already purchased for $ 249. If that’s «pricey» for you, then you just aren’t shopping for furniture at retail prices. You are some kind of Craigslist Wizard. Even Overstock couldn’t match this value for that price.
As for customer service, I love this place. The sales people may seem stand offish, but it’s because they don’t heckle you. If you actually need service they are ready to spring into action. It’s not that they are ignoring you, they just aren’t being annoying pests that follow you around the store like the Gadfly of Io.
Do yourself a favor. Go Local. Go to Kasala.

Very pricey furniture, but the quality is there. My mother and I came in to purchase a new bed stand. Wish they didn’t give us an ability to browse, because our eyes wandered around the store and suddenly we became interested in a new sofa.
We browsed right on through and ended with a new bed stand and sofa. The salesperson was very helpful, patient, and friendly even though it appeared to be a very busy weekend. After that… We had to wait 2 months for inventory to arrive. Kind of slow in my opinion.
They also charge $ 100 for delivery fee. Didn’t seem like a problem, but the guys were a bit weird. They were nice, but once they went outside to put the furniture together, I overheard them yelling and calling names to each other. I guess they didn’t like each other very much.
Overall, you’ll find many things overpriced there. Single Couches/​sofas range from $ 2,000−3,500. «Fancy clocks» for $ 100 – 300.
It’s much more worth it if you go when they are having a huge sale (we went when they had 50−75% sale. Purchased a great $ 2000 sofa for $ 1000!). The 20−30% off they usually have is okay… But of you can, anticipate for the 50% sale.

Purchased a console table on the weekend. The instructions to install the table were so horrible that you can’t see anything. It was a photocopy.
We called up kasala couple of times & finally could talk to the customer rep.
My wife explained the problem & the Customer service rep was really rude!
We’ll end up returning it!
Customer rep. kept explaining that instructions are only visual without checking what was the real problem.
The table isn’t really installed. I am going to go ahead & return it. First time I bought something here & was completely disappointed.

During a recent move, we decided to upgrade all of our furniture to reflect the beauty of our newly purchased home.
I have done the Ikea and Craigslist route during college and am pretty much over it. I checked out
, Bel-​Red Furniture, West Elm, among other places. While this place is pretty pricey, I managed to land on them right in time for their big annual sale at which most items were approximately 15% off.
I purchased a sofa, leather chair, dining room table, 8 dining room chairs, among other things and am completely satisfied with the items that I have received thus far!
At first when my fiancé and I walked in here, we were kind of ignored — we both look really young so the sales people probably assumed that we wouldn’t actually be able to afford anything. But after approaching a salesperson with some questions, she immediately jumped in and threw out ideas, suggestions, comments, etc. Erin, I think she is an Assistant Manager, is AWESOME! I would definitely recommend working with her! She answered questions I had about our difficult layout of a living room and helped us to get all of our items into 2 shipments to eliminate costly shipping fees.
All in all, completely satisfied! Will continue to come in here to pick out accessories as our house comes together. LOVE IT!

I have been meaning to look into Kasala based on the positive Unilocal feedback. Seeing there was a big puka (hole in Hawaiian) to fill in my living room, this was my opportunity to do so.
There are several options when it comes to furniture, I could go the el cheapo route called Ikea. The problem being that I found their designs uncreative and choice lacking. The other option was to try the Tukwila furniture row of shops. The issue there being that selection can vary store by store.
Seeing that Kasala had their anniversary sale, I decided to give them a shot. Being closer to home, I decided to go to the Bellevue store. The showroom is fairly large and it looked like furniture pieces were well coordinated. The sales people were pretty hands off, offering help if needed.
Having looked at the prices of the pieces I was interested in, I was basically reviewing for look and feel before purchase. I settled on two leather chairs and an oak end table which were under $ 200 each! Overall, the selection here is pretty good with there being multiple options to choose from for each part of your house and the prices are reasonable here. Actually comparable to Ikea based on the sale prices.
The one caveat was the delivery fee of $ 99 which seems a bit steep. Though this is a flat fee, which does not sound so bad if you are buying multiple pieces. You could also pick them up yourself at the Kasala warehouse in Seattle, which I believe is where the outlet location is.
Ultimately decided on the delivery service and it was delivered 20 minutes after the delivery window which is great. I had a previous experience with a different furniture store in which the furniture was delivered well outside the window. For the great service, selection and prices, I recommend Kasala.

Give me a break what a rip off, overpriced and the sales people are not that friendly-​at least when we were there on a weekend
