Dizzy’s Bus Stop Specializes in a Half-Day Preschool Program, Mobile Tumbling Program, Day Camps, Birthday Parties and Special Events. Preschool programs are for kids between 2−½ and 5 years old, and Camps are for kids 2−½ to 8 Years Old.
We are a small locally-owned family business where our primary goal is to create a safe and happy place where kids can explore and grow. We want every child to feel special and excited when they climb on our big Tumblebus or come play and learn at the bus stop. We focus on developing relationships with our customers who entrust us to teach their child, and we hope to provide the best customer service in the industry. We have amazing teachers who truly love what they do and it shows when they work with your child. Whether they only meet your child one time at a birthday party, or if they see your child every day at preschool you’ll be impressed with the staff at Dizzy’s Tumblebus & Bus Stop.
History
Established in 2002.
Our business started with one big, yellow Tumblebus in 2002. It was just Miss Dizzy driving the Tumblebus to local schools and daycares for weekly tumbling classes. In 2003 business had grown and Miss Dizzy hired her first teacher. A couple of years later, Miss Dizzy was able to hire a few more teachers along with adding a second Tumblebus to service the eastside. In 2007 she opened Dizzy’s Bus Stop, an indoor play and learn facility. At the Bus Stop there is a half-day preschool program, parties, camps and other special events. The demand from customers for a quality play-based preschool grew, and Dizzy’s Bus Stop grew with it. In 2010 Dizzy’s Bus Stop added a new space for our preschool program and again in 2013. We continue to grow and add programs based upon our community.
Meet the Business Owner
Dizzy F.
Business Owner
In May 2002, Dizzy started the Dizzy’s Tumblebus business. She was a busy mom of two working full time as an environmental engineer. After many years of consulting, she wanted to do something a bit more rewarding that would involve her passion for working with young children. So she quit her job and bought a big yellow bus. Since the business began in 2002, Dizzy has had another child, added a 2nd Tumblebus and opened an indoor play and learn facility called Dizzy’s Bus Stop. She loves having her family involved in so many aspects of the business. Her children are always eager to test out new lesson plans, and she’s been lucky enough to have her two youngest siblings move to Seattle to be a part of the Dizzybus Team. With her husband’s support and a great team of teachers she has been able to turn Dizzybus into a successful company providing a wonderful learning experience for young children. Just watch out because you never know what Dizzy is going to create next!
