OMG! groupon, this place needs to go. This dr. is crazy. from the moment I got in the room I too, was told how she just bought all the american skin laser clinics, and how I need to go to a real dr. to have any services done, and how all these places doing it aren’t real dr.s. she even went further to make sure I, and her staff were aware that my dr who did my eye lift, dr zempleni in bellevue wasnt a facial dr. he was a ear nose and throat, and how I shouldn’t have a dr who doesn’t specialize in faces do any work. He is a facial dr as well! then when I told her I have had radiess on 3 occasions before the lift and it took 1.8 size syringe to cover both sides. and at that time the bags were very noticeable so now that you could hardly see them I thought this amount would be more than enough and could probably use the smaller size. she refused to do it unless I paid for another 2. 1.8 syringes.. the rest of the staff is great but you can tell she makes them do the spiel about only having real dr. s do any injections.
It appears by others having the same experience all she wants to do is up sell you. the sad part is even if she would have said I’ll do it but it wont look good, she strikes me as the type that would screw it up on purpose to prove herself right. 3 other people have done it with the 1.8 and it looked awesome. she must be over smashing it down and spreading it to take more $.
dont go here. Ive used larson anesthetics in burien, and well medical arts in west seattle, who offers the same deals and do amazing work and don’t upsell you.

Why is this company still on Groupon? Totally a rip off. Let’s get real here. When I read about this place and asked around and went there myself I was shocked.

Watch out! They are back with the vengeance! They are now American Laser Skincare NORTHWEST and… I just had the most horrifying experience when I went in for some btx. The creature walked into the room pointing out that she was a ‘real’ doctor. After giving me a lecture on ‘places that don’t have real doctors doing this work’, proceeded to administer the entire amount of 20 units of potion into a single small area of my forehead, inflicting serious pain and injuries. In over a decade of experience I have not had anything like this happen. SSScaaarY!

what is going on here ??? I am at the end of a treatment and at the beginning of a new one and they are closed !!!

Called to confirm second appointment today and everything is closed??? Website is down? No one answers the toll free number. They have my money for 10 sessions. What is going on???

I paid 10 sessions package. 1 month later they announce bankrupting. Hated the service but thought to give them second chance but after wht? They took our money and run

This place is horrible. Apparently it’s the training facility and they don’t train very well. I came here years ago and everybody had a different way of doing things. And nothing worked. I thought I would try it again, but no. I wake up early on a Saturday morning for my scheduled appointment… and their office is closed and no one will pick up the phone. What a waste of time and money.

They have changed managers a couple times but I never had any problems with the staff or management here, everyone is very friendly, attentive and flexible. I have always received great service, they answer any questions you have and do their best to find you a great deal. They have a lot of offers so I definitely recommend waiting for those to avoid paying the full price of the expensive treatments.
I’ve never had to wait a long time to be seen for my laser treatments and everything is always very clean, the staff makes the sessions as enjoyable as possible and they do not try to sell you more stuff.
Once I arrived late for my session and the girl who was there didn’t hesitate to stay a little later to complete my treatment.
I’ve seen great results with the laser treatments and have been adding more areas to my sessions. Their referral program is also great so I’ve received some cash for referring some of my friends as well.

Took forever to get a call back, which they blamed on voice mail issues, however they didn’t get back to my email either. Call started off okay, but when I asked some questions she became impatient and rude. I had purchase the 6 treatment groupon, but what they didn’t mention is that you need to enroll at this «spa» for at least 2 months to see any results. Classic bait and switch. No professionalism, no integrity. See the evidence here on Unilocal,steer clear of this place.

Every service seemed routine until one time I got my appointment taken care of by Yevi. Yevi is the best at what she does and the Bellevue office is lucky to have her any time she is there. She takes her job very seriously and works passionately. She is dedicated to guarantee customer satisfaction. She is polite, friendly, sociable, informative and very pleasant to work with! Such a personal experience requires a great technician, and she Is just the right girl! When I have an appt due, I ask for her! She’s the best!

Stay clear of this place! They are unprofessional, inconsistent, and poorly trained. You will never get the same treatment twice! My face is now scarred for life, and I only wanted a few brown spots removed.
If there was an option for a 0 rating that is what I would have used.

The results were terrible, the price was too expensive. Some of the customer service was bad while some staff had exceptionally great customer service. If you don’t get an air chiller, the pain can be excruciating.
When you get locked into a 2 year contract and spend $ 5k+ up front on hair removal you have given up all control as a customer. The decision to just walk away if the result is bad isn’t feasible given the financial investment made. When you spend this kind of money and you’re an ideal candidate (light skin and dark hair) I don’t care how many disclaimers they have, you expect results. There is no sense in half ass removal. I still have to shave regularly.
After the first visit one of my eyes was blurry and I went to my optometrist, who let me know at 31 that I have cataracts in one eye. This is unheard of at my age, unless trauma. I let her know I felt a laser from my treatment on my eye and she consulted with an opthamologist, who affirmed with medical journals that although the FDA has not come out with anything official there have been records of trauma most likely caused by laser treatments.
The manager, Gerin was rude and didn’t take any accountability for the damage to my eye. My treatment plan was not documented properly so different techs didn’t know what was going on for consistent treatments. I had to say that yes I did pay for that area to be treated and they would have to confirm with the manager on several occasions. A few of the ladies, techs were amazing, the best customer service!
I wouldn’t recommend this service to a friend because my results were terrible.
Also they having been telemarketing me for over a year after service. There telemarketing dept. calls me up to 5 times a day.

Horrible – misleading, waaay overpriced. After filling out a «raffle» offer at an outdoor event, I was contacted to come in for a free consultation. «But *wait*! If you come in the NEXT day, we will offer you $ 100 off your service, plus a 60% off summer special!» Ok. I smelled a rat, but I thought it might be a good way to get a truly discounted price for just a small amt of work. I get there, battling traffic, leaving work a bit early, and find that the office manager (names starts with a T) tells me that it would cost $ 680 for 10 sessions, even tho’ I just need a few follow ups. Ok, she tells me she has another «deal”– how about $ 170 per SESSION for a package of 3 chin area laser sessions.
WHAT? Uh… NO! I’ve done this before, and this is waaaay over priced.
No discount for rushing there the next day, as promised, unless you purchase the whole huge package. Otherwise, you get NADA. No 60% off, either.
Manager was condescending, and didn’t offer anything to entice me to stay. I told her I felt that the whole thing was misleading, and I was very annoyed about this bait/​n-​switch. BUYER BEWARE! Dont go here. BOO!

This place is much better than other American Laser Center I went to on the East coast. The biggest benefit is that they are not trying to sell you something on each and every visit which annoyed me in the other location.
Treatments are done quickly and professionally, girls are really nice.

I came here on a recommendation from a friend, and I have been nothing but pleased with my service so far. I have light skin and medium hair, and I’m already seeing results after 2 sessions!
Brittany, I’m assuming, is the new manager, because I’ve never seen a Gerin there. But anyway, Brittany is so friendly and informative, she really seems to love what she does, and it shows!
The location is clean and sanitary, and in a well-​known, upscale medical district in Bellevue. It looks like a doctors office, really. There’s quite ample parking, too!

This company is nice to you when they are selling you something. But they never mention during the signing about an extreme pain in some very sensitive areas when you are treated with laser, nor that results could be close to zero. They have no custom to ask for feedback. You’ll have no way to complain or report any wrongdoing to the company. They will simply ignore you. Go to their website, check by yourself, search for things like «feedback», «complaint», «testimonials» — it will be zero results, the company does not care, or do not dare to hear what we have to say about their services. They will never call you back, so go directly to your attorney, and do not regret never come back to their office. When their technology gives no results, they always have explanations that it is personal, and YOU SIMPLY HAVE TO BUY MORE! But then their prices become comparable to other well known and very RELIABLE treatments, where results are much more predictable.
The bottom line, when you’ve paid your money, you are defensless, because there is nothing depending on their performance anymore, nobody is accountable

You have only two remedies — go public and go to court. It’s exactly what I’m going to do and I’ll put my good or bad experience on line as much as I can. I intend to go to all their open houses here, in Bellevue, WA, and talk people out of trusting this company.

I have received a few different styles of treatments at America Laser Skincare & I have to say the price is affordable and the ladies that work at the Bellevue center have always been fun, nice, informative, and friendly every time I go in. All in all, treatments at this center have been an excellent experience.

American Laser Centers are a scam. After winning a treatment package I signed up back in May ’08. I’ve gone religiously ever since (every 8 – 10 weeks, even through a cross-​country move) but have yet to see results. I am the «ideal candidate» with very pale skin and dark hair.
This location, in particular, is guilty of:
–Constantly trying to sell me additional packages even though I stand there telling them that the one I’ve already paid for isn’t working and only an idiot would buy MORE of something that isn’t working
–Burning me during a treatment
–A few appointment scheduling mishaps, including the time they laughed at me when I arrived for my 11am appointment, told me my appointment is at 2:30. Fortunately, they had to stuff it once I showed them my signed card with «11:00 am» written on it.
–They ask me every time «Are you seeing results?» and I say «No», and they say «sometimes it takes as many as 6 appointments…» and then they have nothing more to say when I tell them this is my 15^th, 16^th, 17^th appointment.
I will broach the subject of a refund with this location soon, but if everything I’ve read online is any indication of how they treat people asking for refunds I won’t be getting one. Unfortunately, I can’t go lower than 1 star, but this company and this location haven’t even earned 1.

American Laser in Bellevue, WA ROCKS!
I have been going to American Laser in Bellevue for about a year now. I love them! I had done laser before and it didn’t work very well, so I was really skeptical. I go for laser hair removal pretty much all over my body.
American Laser has been amazing. They give you all kinds of information on what not to do before, during and after treatment. They ask you about your medication history before every session. Their staff is very friendly and they make you feel comfortable which is really important for things like this! I would recommend them to anyone.
In regards to pricing and contracts — Well, you can go in and pay for 1 session, or you can pay for a package deal. Paying for one session at time is costly and it will take forever to get rid of the hair. I signed up for a package deal for my legs, bikini, underarms etc… In order to get rid of the hair you have to go for a certain amount of time and you have to stay on a schedule in order to kill the hair at each growth stage. I can handle staying on a schedule to never have to shave my legs again :)

Unfortunately, my friend and I were double talked into signing up for laser hair removal. It seemed great at the time but when you read the fine print, you are locked into the contract or pay a penalty of 10% if you cancel the procedure all together. What this meant for myself and myfriend is that we owed this place $ 850 for an hour of consultation time.
This is more than attorney fees! In trying to reason with the office manager, Gerin, about these fees– which were not explained and just written in fine print– she was flippant and argumentative.
This company is evasive and ridiculously structured. They prevent you from speaking to anyone with any authority and you’re left to deal with a barely high school graduate explaining to you why the hour she spent with you for a ‘free consultation’ resulted in an $ 850 fee.
Their paperwork also states that ‘a physician will be performing all procedures’. Upon further examination, this is UNTRUE! An esthetician is the only one available to do these procedures.
You tell me how messed up this place is when they want you to adhere to paying a fee per their contract yet they can’t uphold their end of the contract on not having a physician perform the procedure.
