Negulescu Fine Art Gallery

Attended the grand opening of Irina’s Negulescu fine art gallery. The gallery, also known as Coalesce, showcases some of the wonderful aquatic women floating like in a dream that characterize Irina’s creations. I have been a fan of her art since I met her a decade ago during one of those fun Euro expats parties we used to go when younger and fresher:) Her style is very airy, watery, empashizing in women (always beautiful women in her mostly huge paintings, mural like) and children. I am not much into kid’s paintings, so I tend to admire more her approach to the female figure. I like her palette of colors and overall style.
The gallery itself is very cute, petite and located in the burgoining area of North Little Italy, just across from design stores and facing from the other side El Camino, one of my favorite Mexican kitschy restaurants in town. Also very close to Casa Artelexia, so do not forget to do the tour of all those places when in that area!
