I came to Lambs with a nail in my tire, and was expecting to pay at least $ 50 to repair and remount. Mark and Kevin not only fixed it immediately, but gave me no bill for doing so! Customer service is top notch here, and I will be bringing all my vehicles back for any service they provide! Thank you so much guys!

I used Lambs on two occasions. First to have an out of state car inspected so it could be registered and licensed .
The second I had a major problem getting rusted license plate bolts out in order to put the new Texas plates on. I didn’t have the right tools and they graciously helped.
Everyone there is very professional and helpful
I will use them for automotive issues in the future and would encourage you to do the same.

Been to lambs twice now. One for inspection another for flat tire. Thanks to my bud Mark I was in and out 30 mins or less both times. Always a smile and a «ay boy o» by Mark as I walk through door. Makes me feel welcome and at the right place. Cheers Mate.

A good body shop is hard to find because it’s hard to trust that people won’t take advantage of you. Lamb’s in Bee Cave is one of those places. I’ve been coming here for 2 years, and this past time at Lamb’s was my absolute last. My 4-​year old car was making a number of noises. I took my car into Lamb’s to have them take a look. They came back with a $ 1,330.13 quote stating I needed new muffler, resonator, gasket, hangers, front brakes, and disc brake pads. The guy at the front desk insisted I give him a $ 700 deposit so he could get my muffler on order and we could do all the repairs in a few days. I was skeptical.
I left Lamb’s and went to a reputable muffler-​repair shop in South Austin (Soco Muffler & Radiator). I talked to them on the phone before I actually met them with my car. Their quote over the phone for the same exact work was about half the cost of Lamb’s. When they actually saw my car in-​person, they kind of chuckled at what I had been told at Lamb’s. I did not need a new muffler, or resonator, or gasket, or hangers, front brakes or any of the other things Lamb’s had told me. He simply fixed my exhaust pipe and the car ran fine. All for $ 95.00.
So, thanks for trying to rip-​me-​off Lamb’s! I was a regular customer and it’s a very convenient location for me to get a simple oil-​change. I will not be returning.
People of Bee Cave, find another body shop! This place is no good.

Great customer service and friendly people who do a great job at what they do. It takes a while to get stuff done but they are very busy and do it as soon as they can.

Once again, Drew and all the guys at Lambs went above and beyond to help me out… And last minute. I called, was told to come right over. In and out in no time. I love that Drew takes the time to show me how machines work and parts on my Jeep work. Learn something new every time! Thanks guys!

$ 200 more for four tires than Discount Tire and Costco!
I have been going to this location of Lamb’s Tires for many, many years and have been generally happy. They are nice enough and always seems fairly professional.
However, now I really wonder. They worked on my daughter’s car (after saying it failed the safety inspection) and really made things go from fine to bad to worse. Too long of a story for Unilocal but let’s just say we had to take it back at least 5 times and they never did fix it right (and it worked fine before they started).
Mostly recently, we needed four new tires for an old (1995) BMW. $ 595 at Costco but we really didn’t want to have to drive all the way to Costco. $ 629 at Discount Tire in Lakeway. And a whopping $ 827.94 for the exact same tires at Lamb’s.
This is absolute proof positive that you should not go to Lamb’s. I know we never will.

If I could have given them a negative star, well I would have. $ 1000 for brake pads? Really, do people actually fall for this? Beware Lambs engages in predatory sales!

I’ve been talking my 2002 Avalanche and 2004 Tahoe here for quite some time. I’ve gotten big repairs such as brand new brakes for the entire car, a full new set of tires, new alternator, new batteries, oil changes, and the list continues. Anyways, took the Tahoe in today and it was just a mess. I asked for an oil change and for my stability sensor and steering wheel column to be looked at because it causes the traction control sensor to flip out and cause the transmission to slip. I’ve had them look at it three times previously and they just reset it for a minor fix and it’s good for a couple of months, and then will come back on again. Well… I get to the counter to pay when they say it’s done and what do you know. Jim says they didn’t do it because they said that the warning light didn’t come on when they were doing the oil change. How hard is it to just go and test drive it to see what the heck I’m talking about. Good grief. Jim proceeds to tell me that they can have someone go drive it after I had been sitting and waiting a good two hours already. I said never mind and went to leave. Once inside my car I notice that my control panel for the windows and locks is damaged. I tell Jim and he goes well it wasn’t us you must’ve broken it before you got here. It was perfectly fine before I took it in. NEVER COMING BACK. THIS PLACE IS A PIECE OF TRASH.

Drew Crosby, and his stellar team flat out rule, it’s just that simple. I had a flat tire, on a holiday, during a massive, historic, record breaking storm… not only where they open for business, they took care of my tire, and had me back on the road astonishingly fast… if you’re looking for honest, dedicated folks, providing unmatched service with a smile, this should be your ONLY one stop shop. Forget the rest, make a beeline for the best!!! Furthermore, they have coffee for us jittery folks, and a customer shuttle for added convenience… does life get any better? I submit that it does not, hats off, thanks again!!!

What a difference under the new management! Paddie worked on my car today — fast, efficient, friendly service. Kenny and team always make things right if something goes wrong later — these guys really stand behind their work. This is a true ‘Keep It Weird Austin’ establishment. They’ve earned my business!

I rarely write reviews but these guys were absolutely amazing and so helpful, especially Kenny Jones, worth noting. I went once for a flat tire. No big deal, they fixed it. I had to go again for an oil change and they performed some free checks on my car (tire, breaks, etc.) and turns out I had a few issues and thanks to them, know exactly what/​how/​when to fix these problems. Since I am not a car expert by any stretch of imagination, Kenny was really helpful (and patient) at breaking it down for me. Oh, and did I mention they have a free shuttle service that will take you to your home or workplace and pick you back up when you car is ready? ANYWAY, great service and so glad these guys are close by. I feel like my 4Runner is in good hands with them!

I love these guys!!! OK, so in November or so, I had a tail light out and ran by to see if they had them and they did AND the very nice Mgr at the time, Craig, was super sweet and gave me a bulb AND replaced it for me. I and recently bought a set of tires at Discount Tire in Lakeway (and I love those guys too) but told Craig, if I was ever in need I would come back to them for sure. Well, today my other tail light went out and I stopped by again, wanting to, of course, buy a bulb this time and just replace it myself. Well, I was helped immediately by Drew, who did the same exact thing Craig did… came out to my Jeep, took out the old bulb replaced it with the new one AND would not let me pay. I told him the story of Craig and he said he had actually replaced Craig at that location, but he is still with the company. Good to hear. Great man. Anyway, you have won my oil change business, see you soon. Great place. Great guys, great service. Go to Lamb’s and you will get it. Trust me.

Jerry sold me just the right tires at a reasonable price and had them installed just the way I wanted: stems in all the same spots and balanced from inside. The ride in my full-​custom King Ranch is the best yet. And the store is very customer friendly.

I’ve been going to the Lamb’s location on Bee Caves for many years, and it’s my go-​to shop for my car. It’s very convenient to my office, and they always offer to drive me back to work. I’ve developed a relationship with Jerry, and he always takes care of me. Over the years there has been 1 or 2 instances where something wasn’t right, but it has always been fixed there on the spot or I just take it back and it gets done (even if they end up paying for it). They are always incredibly professional and overall really nice guys.

Tried to buy a set of Goodyear tires from Jeremy at this location. He quoted me $ 30 more per tire than anyone else in town and had no interest in matching the price.

To the Jim guy from Lambs. This is not a fake review, I have never gotten a message from you and yes I did take my 1999 Saab to your location for a break line repair. The work was never done (read the review) because the dealership was way cheaper than your shop. If you can’t find anything about my car, then maybe you have some house cleaning to do over there at Lambs.

Took my GMC Sierra in yesterday because my driver side headlight burned out and had already got a warning from the Lakeway PD so I really needed it replaced. After having replaced the passenger side light 6 months ago myself, I knew how difficult it was to get to the back of the headlight assembly.
I went into Lamb’s and they quoted me $ 80 to replace the bulb (and I already had the new bulb!). Somewhat shocked I told them to put my name in but hold off while I went and checked under the hood. To my delight… I discovered that the Driver side headlamp access is much different than the Passenger side headlamp access. When the tech came out to pull my truck in, I had him take a look and give me his take. he agreed that it shouldnt take almost an hour to replace it. So he went and got his manager. That manager came out and looked and informed me that he had to take all these different parts out to get access and that it would indeed take 8/10’s of an hour… $ 80. Disgusted, I declined the job and went home. Without using one single tool except the rubber gloves that the parts store gave me, I replaced the bulb in literally 4 minutes.
I have a VERY common model truck… and I’m sure techs work on them all the time and should be quite familiar with the simple stuff like light bulb replacement. I feel like this was an opportunity for Lamb’s to make a great impression on a new customer but instead they fell short.
Jim, it seems like you respond to all the sub-​par posts that you receive on here — so hopefully I’ll hear back from you on this one.
****Update: Aside from my experience yesterday, within hours of posting this review the manager from that store called me to apologize and asked me to come in the next time I needed work done and that he’d make it right. It’s nice to know they care enough to follow up like that. ****

I’ve taken a few cars to Lambs at this location and the one on 620 and all of the times I have been there the people are incredibly friendly and not «typical garage guys» I don’t feel like I’m getting scammed and the guys I talk to are always very helpful. I don’t think I would want to go anywhere else!

Having a good mechanic is sort of like having a good doctor. You hope you never have to see them, and preventative maintenance is key.
After driving around for a week trying to pretend that my rear passenger side window was not in fact slowly creeping open on its own, I finally decided to get it checked out.
I’d taken my car in to them once before to get tires, and I was happy with how friendly and helpful the mechanics were. This time was no exception. Jeremy handled my experience like a pro, and even took the initiative to fix the other window that I didn’t even realize was broken.
They are a bit steep, but are significantly less expensive than going to the dealership. If you ask them to work with you on the price, they will usually help out a bit with the labor cost. Every little bit helps.
I really like the guys at the shop. They’re always welcoming and are quick to offer you a ride home, to work, or wherever you need to go while your car is being worked on.
This Lamb’s is my go-​to spot for car repairs, and while I appreciate their service, I hope to not see them until my next oil change!
