Awesome. Great pizza, great service. Burned our pizza(it happens!) so they gave us one free.

Something has really changed here in the past few months. The service has picked up and the food is wonderful. Maybe they needed more people, and they got them. I will be coming here again

When we come to Ken’s I usually get a hamburger platter it is a great deal and yummy. On this occasion I decided to shake it up and ordered a Greek salad with chicken. It was iceberg lettuce! ICEBERGLETTUCE people! Three olives, two grape tomatoes, feta cheese and half a cold pita bread. The Greek dressing was runny and not very flavorful. The chicken was very tasty, But still I was not happy paying $ 8.95 I will stick with the burger platter.

I decided to stop into Ken’s while passing through Bedford. I’ll give 5 stars for a perfect trifector, great food, impeccable service from a very warm, friendly and smiling staff, along with a spotless superclean restaurant, with very nice décor. I got the Italian platter, it was loaded with chicken and eggplant parmigian, meatballs and sausage with pasta. It was so very tasty and cooked to perfection, i left full and satisfied with leftovers for the next day. Its always nice to happen to find a hidden gem when least expected. I’ll definitely be back there i need to try out the pizza it looked great. Bön Appétit

We thought Ken’s was okay(just okay) until tonight. They screwed up our order, which we didn’t notice till we got home and saw that our pasta contained chicken(for a person who cannot eat meat). When we called, they were very defensive and dismissive and only offered to remake it if we came back. We were unable to go back, so we picked out the chicken, but the sauce tasted like chalk and water. It was absolutely inedible. What a waste of our money and time. People in Bedford are desperate enough to go to Ken’s, but we’ll spend an extra 20 driving to the next town over to avoid chalky inedible food and incredibly rude service.

My son and I pop in for Pizza pretty often on the way home from the Kid’s Club. The crust is nice and chewy, we like it a lot. The waitstaff is really friendly to us as well. It’s not too expensive and a great option for us on nights when we feel like kicking back a bit.

Tried the new Kens the other night for dinner, ordered the steak and cheese wrap, chicken parm calzone and chicken fingers with fries. Let’s start with the steak and cheese. 1 word«awful» don’t even waste your money, hardly filled with dry, tasteless steak. Next came the calzone. Not bad, good crust, but again you think for $ 11 it would be filled with chicken, nope very thin and not much flavor. Lastly was the chicken and fries, chicken was ok, fries were so soggy and cold, nasty. This place was better before they redid the block. I may try 1 more time before I give up on this deli.

It’s average. We went in hoping for great service, pizza, and a calzone. I got the veggie pizza. It was loaded up and said it had eggplant on it. Which it did, but it was pieces of eggplant parm under the cheese. Was not a fan. My husband got the Buffalo chicken calzone. It was okay. There were quite a few people working, but they weren’t overly friendly. They call your food out instead of bringing it to you even though they are standing around. I noticed they were VERY friendly to their regulars. You need to treat all your customers with the same standards. I will possibly give this place another shot eventually.

This place can’t compare to other local eateries. The fries(which they say they are famous for) tasted like they were fried up with used oil from the massage parlor next door. The sandwich I had was absolutely tasteless beside the subtle taste of melted plastic and antifreeze. Avoid this place, it’s nasty. That is unless you need to use the bathroom because that was spotless.

THEGOOD: Unbelievably good burgers! Huge patty and very tasty on a great buttered bun. The fries with the burger I ordered were like McDonald’s fries, shoestring, not a fan. Italian subs are good but I’ve got 2 so far and they cut the cold-cuts too thick. The cold-cuts were quality products. The chicken parm is decent and it’s always nice to see thin homemade cutlets. Plenty of parking. Seems clean. Nice staff. The not so GOOD: Long waits for your food! Steak Tip sub was really gross. They use too much oil to grill the veggies for it and you can taste it in the sub. Steak was tender but a very dull and boring sub. The chicken marsala is fairly bad. Ordered with penne and got linguine, not a big deal but the marsala was more buttery and lacked much sweet marsala sauce. The sauteed chicken was good and the meal itself was a good size for the price. The pizza… thin, not very good tasting, and from the picture I posted, it is cooked on some type of screen(may have some Greek influence) and you can clearly see the big shiny metal gas pizza ovens in the back when you’re standing at the counter. They advertise«Brick Oven Pizza».

We hit Ken’s at least once a week or so. It’s nice to have a place in Bedford where you can sit down and get a beer and a sandwich or pizza. The pizza is always good — we’ve had at least 10 different pizzas, they’ve all been good. It’s not an atmosphere place, but in the evening the staff is really friendly and accommodating… several TV screens with different things on them all the time, for those who especially like that… Ken’s also runs the Italian restaurant next door, Bella Maria’s Cucina, think, and the meals there are DELICIOUS… and they’ll even fill up a big guy, they’re generous to say the least…

Asked if they gave a military discount and they said yes. Great. But when i checked receipt they gave discount on only 1(the least expensive) item!!! Never saw this anywhere before. Little deceptive i think. Either give a discount or dont. Rueben sandwich was thin and soggy. Miss the old Kens.

Good service, easy parking, comfortable lay out. Eggplant sandwich on a wide braided roll was a good tast choice, as was the Lagunitas IOA from the short beer list.

I would say 2 ½ stars. Everyone so often my kids request Ken’s, so I drive up to get take-out. Every time, I am disappointed. I recently stopped there on a weekday. It was before noon, so the restaurant was not busy. I placed an order for chicken wings, a hamburger, and a wrap salad. Service/the kitchen was extremely slow. It took 30 minutes from the time I ordered till the time my food was done. The hamburger was done quickly and sat and sat while the kitchen tried to figure out what happened to my wrap. By the time we got it home it was cold. The caesar wrap was just ok. Definitely not worth a 30 minute wait.

After serious consideration upon my previous visits, I have recently decided to try Kens again. My brother is handicapped with muscular dystrophy and I take care of him. He has lived in Bedford for years and used to love Kens until our previous visits since they reopened. I was upset with our treatment and the fact I got sick resulting in a negative review. My brother and I really to give them another shot as we love their buffalo chicken(best around). I am not one to hold a grudge and I like to give everyone another chance. Upon our recent re-visits, we have been greeted in a professional manner and the food has been top quality! Business can be very stressful especially when making all customers happy. We are all human which leads us to imperfections. I am truly grateful to have a quality resteraunt in the area with owners who are willing to reach out to their customers to address their concerns. The Kens we know and love is BACK and we look forward to our next meal. Hopefully anyone who has had a negative experience will come back and be pleasantly surprised.

I’m not sure what to think about this place. Before they renovated, I was in here at least once a week. It was simple and delicious, with huge portions of food. Now, the wait takes a while(maybe call ahead is the way to go). My wrap was ok at best.

Too pokey service. A large pizza took over 30 minutes to prepare. Subs were prepared very fast it looked like. Place was hopping but there’s plenty of seating and the line was short. Clean, modern, new as of a couple years. Serves beer and wine. A variety of Coke products, nothing inspired. Right across from the town common with safe and easy parking right on the street, plus a small lot behind the strip. TVs scattered around, tuned to a different channels when I was there.

I liken Ken’s NY Deli to Brett Favre. Back in the day before this place was renovated, it was awesome, much like Brett’s career with the Packers. When the time came for Brett to retire and for Ken’s to temporarily shut down for the renovation, the world was sad. And one day, both came back. And both sucked.

Every time I go here, I mean to get something besides the«Plymouth Rock» sandwich(the traditional turkey, stuffing, cranberry thanksgiving-on-bread). But I never seem to be able to stick to that because I love this sandwich and they make the best one I’ve ever had. Everything is so fresh! The bread is perfect, the stuffing is divine, the turkey is not deli turkey but actually fresh, cut with a knife and not a slicer, real meat turkey. So when I want a thanksgiving sandwich I drive to this place. I’m sure the rest of their food is fine. I’ll check back in if I ever manage to order anything else! Prices are high but it is Bedford center so that ups the«snoot» factor. Anyway they have six beers on tap so that’s got to count for something right? Some may be put off by what looks like on-street-only parking: fear not! There’s a free lot behind the building.
