Really really good bagels and bagel sandwiches. My only complaint are the home fries, which aren’t even that bad. Plus it’s a bagel place so it’s acceptable that they don’t have best home fries. Actually they are better than other breakfast places I’ve tried!

Best bagels in NH I even hate any cream cheese but there’s I loved Heads up the people who work there come off as extremely rude but there really not. You’ll understand

Excellent bagels and bagel sandwiches. Major setback is the price. $ 8.00 for a sandwich is highway robbery, it literally costs them 50 cents to make a bagel and they think because they throw on cheap meats and lecture, it somehow justifies $ 8.00 Staff is always rude and unappreciative.

I stopped in to try it for the first time, and as expected on a Sunday morning it was moderately busy. I ordered a plain bagel with plain cream cheese lightly toasted. Easy enough? It was not lightly toasted and when I got home 5 minutes after receiving my bagel it was stone cold. Yes I know bagels cool quickly, but there wasn’t even the hint of warmth other than the toasted look of the bagel itself. The cream cheese on my bagel hadn’t even attempted to melt(which is another pretty good indicator that the bagel was already cold when it was added). I was also standing in front of the bagel case watching the woman work, and did not see her pull a plain bagel out at any point, so my suspicion is that this was one mistakenly toasted earlier for something else was used to feed me. If that was not the case they really need to work on timing between when it is dropped by the toaster and when it is handed to customer. I will most likely give them another try, but first impressions were not good at all.

Came here a few times while traveling in the area and they do a really good bagel and cream cheese as well as breakfast sandwiches. Family owned they are extremely friendly and take pride in the quality of what they make. When I came back for a bagel on day two the women at the cash register asked me where I was from and she could tell I liked good bagels made from scratch because I am back and that makes her happy. I addition to the bagels they have a pretty good offering of coffee flavored too. If you are not already a regular at this place make sure to stop on because if you like a good bagel you will become a regular here soon.

The food was good and fast. The coffee(Peet’s)was also good. The cashier was not friendly or helpful. She seemed kind of put out to take my order. The décor was old and worn. If you want something fast and to go, this is your place.

I’m a huge fan of both locations(this review is for both) great freshly made bagels and sandwiches at reasonable prices. Coffee is serve yourself so you can make it just the way you like it and one of the few places I have been able to find a good bagel and lox with tomato, onion, and capers!

Great breakfast place. Bagels are fresh everyday and the staff is always so friendly. Love the bagel sandwiches, buy just a bagel and the variety of cream cheese they have is amazing

There is a young lady(the daughter) who is the quintessential bagel nazi. I handed her a bunch of 1’s and was reaching for the exact change when she kept barking, «It’s 5 dollars !» Heaven forbid I don’t put my coins away fast enough and hand over another dollar bill fast enough. There is definitely a counter issue here like others reported.

I have been here 3 times now and I will not be going back. The main reason is the service. I have been met with the same woman at the cashier all 3 times and she makes me feel uncomfortable. I feel like I am inconveniencing her by asking her for food and coffee. She never smiled, greeted me, or thanked me. She didn’t even repeat my order, it was like just give me the money and go away. The coffee is awful. The food is just ok. At those prices, I would prefer to go across the street to Panera Bread where I know I will be greeted with a smile. I found the food greasy and the restaurant itself doesn’t appear clean.

So unimpressed. The bagels taste just like Lender’s Bagels that you can get in the frozen food section of any grocery store. And since I’m not in the habit of buying bagels at the grocery store, I won’t be back to the Bagel Café. Texture was not fresh. Flavor was not terribly present. Absolutely disappointing. All I could think of when eating my sad, sad bagel on the drive(!!) back to Nashua was that I needed to Unilocal all of you people right away to warn you. Mission accomplished.

Really yummy breakfast sandwiches and delicious Green Mountain coffee! I usually get a sausage egg and cheese on a plain bagel. I would give it 5 stars if I wasn’t comparing it to all time favorite bagel place in MA(Bagel World). Bagel Café definitely makes it on my top 5 bagel place list though! Update: I am changing my review from 4 stars to 3, because they got rid of their«combos» and now a meal is way more expensive. They also got rid of their Green Mountain coffee, and their new coffee tastes like gas station coffee(and has«squirts» for flavor, hate that!) Food is still tasty though.

Maybe I’m missing something the others are not, but I can’t give this place a great rating. We tried this place when it was down the street,(then called New England Bagel), and again today. Both times it wasn’t anything to write home about. Located in the former Luisa’s building this no frills place has a menu consisting mostly of(duh) bagels. There’s also a few other options for breakfast sandwiches and similar. For a place called Bagel Café(Keep feeling it needs more to that name…) the bagels should knock my socks off. Unfortunately this wasn’t the case. When trying a new place, my wife and I try to order from opposite ends of the menu, so we can share meals and each give the place a fair assessment. Today, being our second visit, meant we’ve tried a total of 4 different bagels, and I’m sorry to say, each of them fell flat. Sort of stale and not what you’d expect in a place that purveys primarily bagels. Also we asked for them toasted.(Usually takes a few minutes, no?) We got our bagels in record time, and they appeared more microwaved than toasted.(Perhaps this contributed to the stale taste?) The customer service needs some help too. There’s a walk-up-and-order type counter with a beverage cooler to the side. Both this visit and last, we were greeted by a hasty male cashier, who even through his handsome foreign accent, seemed agitated that we wanted to take a minute to look over the menu board.(While no one else waited behind us.) Speaking of the menu, grab a paper one from the counter. It’s much more expansive. We were bummed out to learn after ordering that they had all sorts of other cream cheese flavors that weren’t on the wall. So the good things? 1. They’re super fast. If you’re starving. They’ll get you in, out, and out of their face in a hurry. 2. They don’t skimp on the cream cheese… pretty much got a cream cheese sandwich! 3. They sliced the bagel in half to make the sandwich, then sliced it across to make it much more manageable. Good to take on the road. With the other reviews being much more favorable, we’ll wait a few months, see if this place sticks around, and give it a shot on another day. For now, I’d recommend you drive another 7 minutes to the Bridge Café on Elm St. in Manchester!

The bagels here are awesome, baked fresh every day. Their sandwiches are great. The people that work here are always friendly and fast. Their new location is large, bright, cozy and clean. Lots of parking available. Hubby and I go here almost every day. I’m a big fan of their grilled muffin — totally yummyliscious.

Bedford Bagel Café(formerly New England Bagel) is the place to get real New York Style bagels. They bake them fresh everyday. Try the #4 Lox on a bagel. You wont be disappointed. The homefries are also amazing. The new building is clean, bright, and welcoming. There is plenty of parking in their lot.
