Cucumber & Company has been a great value-​add for our events. They are professional, easy to deal with and do great work!

I’m a web designer, pc tech and I do video production in the Beckley area for over 8 years now. I have been watching the progression of the quality of graphic design and video production available in the Beckley area for years and It’s always been a fact that the options out there (local companies) are always poor in quality and people pay out the wazooo because they don’t know any better, they have no other competition.
Well speaking from a designers point of view, a side from them being a bit of my competition. I think these guys, have done very well for them selves, I would stand by them for there talents. Very good quality from what I’ve seen, and I’ve seen all the competitors around this area, and there worth it.
Remember just because a big media company may have a more impressive studio and more recognition (cable company) doesn’t mean there better quality at all. Check it out and compare for yourself.
In fact I remember when I was 19 (in 2002) and I was making my first commercial and I had to bring it up to the cable company, it was Charter Comm. at the time and they were using much older equipment, oh but hey, they had a BIG fancy camera, but it was as old as dirt. I remember my little hand-​held camera having better quality than their very expensive older camera. lol.
OK so here I am bringing a DVD of the commercial to Charter… and the guy says; «um, we can’t do DVDs,. it has to be…(he calls the editor)… BETA. tapes» and I was floored, they had no way of transferring my work through a PC to get my video, I had to transfer it to BETA myself, via EBAY. Had to buy a old BETA VCR, which lowered the quality, ridiculous… At least Suddenlink has up to date equipment, and hopefully they have people that can learn how to use it… lol j/​k…
So overall, I think Cucumber & Company, Muncy is his name. He’s doing a great job showing what quality is.
