The food here was good. An old friend took my wife and I to eat here, and we were all happy. The staff were friendly, the place seemed clean, and the food was delicious. I ordered the hot & spicy tofu teriyaki plate, and my only complaint was that the tofu could have been slightly more well done, but the place was great overall. I’d recommend this place to anybody.

This place is great. They put a lot of love into their food. Their salad and their pork really measures up right there with Du’s in Portland.

Good value and great tasting food for lunch. My friends have had the teriyaki and said it was great. I usually eat there a couple times a month. My go to dish is the spicy chicken. Nice warm heat from the spiciness; caramelized onions and nice grilled chicken. Lady that usually help us is very friendly and service is prompt.

The kitchen staff don’t wear cook uniforms,(seems unprofessional and dirty to me), were wearing baseball caps when I went. The lady working the counter is friendly but she is unhygienic, she charges money AND she packages take out orders without washing her hands or wearing gloves.

Always good food and friendly service. Large portions especially on to go orders. Chicken teriyaki is one of favorites… tender chicken tasty sauce. The egg rolls are delish too! Super fast service makes it perfect for lunch.

I’m going to keep this short– this place is the bomb. We eat here a lot. For a family of 4, we are full with 2 plates. If we’re feeling a little crazy, we’ll order a 3rd dish, and then bring some leftovers home. Big bang for your buck and the food is delicious. Can’t say enough about this place.

Really good food here and way better than best teriyaki down the street. The quality seems good for the most part except sometimes you’ll get a fatty part but it hasn’t happened lately.

I had the teriyaki beef, and it was great. The portion size was just right for a big guy like me, but I can imagine that a smaller person would have to take some home. I am a weightlifter and I am always looking for a place to get some good protein for a good price, and I think I found it. Plus, I wasn’t the only big guy there. I think word must have made its way to the gym that a good portion of meat can be had here. I chose to swap out the steamed white rice that came standard with brown rice for $.59 extra. Great choice because it was a very healthy meal along with the lettuce salad(can lettuce be called a salad just because it has some dressing on it?) that came on the plate. I read on Unilocal that there was free miso soup for you to take while you waited, but I didn’t grab any because I didn’t see the other reviews until I had already got my food.

I went two Sundays ago and ordered food to go. I saw a sign that said buy one meal get the other 50% off. Usually you get the discount when the Asian lady is there but on this Sunday there was a Mexican girl working and she has always had a bit of an attitude when I have gone in as if she doesn’t want to be there. I brought it to her attention that the sign was still up and she pretended as if she knew nothing about it. The quality and quantity of the food has gone down. I am not sure if I will go back. But just for proving a point I just might stop in when I see the sign outside about the discount. Be careful when you are charged full price she may be stealing your money.

Picked up food to go, we usuakky eat at the Zen on 185th. We ate half the plate and as I was going to put the leftovers in the container I noticed that the scoop of rice had hairs in it. Small black hairs. I am beyond disgusted and when I called about it I was told it wasn’t possible. Then when I asked for a manager one wasn’t available. Then I was told they would call me if they remenbered to tell him this evening. I will never eat at this place again and will get refunded for today’s meal. If you want teriyaki eat on 185th.

Dropped in for a quick snack and was very pleasantly surprised. I don’t normally rave about quickish Teriyaki dine in places, but the quality of the dishes was a step above. We had the spicy chicken plate, and the chicken came fresh out of the wok and had a very satisfying seared flavor to it. Not too spicy and not too saucy, just right. The beef yakisoba was also very well balanced and had none of the sugary/gooey over saucing that you might see at other places. The portions were also very generous on both dishes, and both held their flavor the next hung over morning.

Horrible service, honestly didn’t even get to try the food because of the LACK of customer service that was displayed here. The counter girl was too busy on her cell phone to even get up to the counter for one, second thing is the girl didn’t even know the menu she had to go ask the cook(in a different language too mind you) then still didn’t know any of the other answers about the restaurant she works at menu ! She refused to give me her managers number; as well as called me completely out of line names for her lack of competence ! I work both of my jobs in customer service/retail & was appalled by the manner of this girl.

We arrived at 8:30pm on a Friday, they close at 9:00pm. Food arrived quickly, and was subpar. One meal was Spicy Beef and was ordered as «medium» spicy and it was not spicy. It had to have significant hot sauce added at the table. The other meal was Broccoli Chicken with brown rice(see photo). The brown rice was so over cooked it was mush. We ordered egg rolls and they were served after we received our meal and we had to ask for them. They were NOT worth the wait. They were so full of oil that is all we could taste. As 9:00pm came closer we felt rushed. In the end, we left the Broccoli Chicken and mushy rice on the plate and left with an upset stomach. We will not return. This business has been open for four months and didn’t exist in Unilocal search and we attributed it to the«Grand Opening» sign. If they do not improve I don’t see them lasting much longer.

This place used to be Kline Hawaiian Bbq. The menu offers not only teriyaki but also some Chinese dishes. I ordered chicken and beef teriyaki combo. It come with chicken, beef, rice, salad, and two pieces of pot sticker. Pot stickers were tasty but meat got no taste. Luckily every tables have teriyaki sauce and ponzu to help add flavor, plus you could get up and get free miso soup.
